That list is bogus and the main reason Jimi Hendrix is on it is because he played acid rock and not RnB. Most RnB/funk guitarists never make those lists.

I have always loved all the artist in Prince stable. Went to Jessie Concert back in 85/86 with Mazarati and Sheila, one of the best ever! Jessie killlllllled it! Would love to see them put the groups back together and tour. Would be very successful. Everybody! The Family, Andre Cymone, the Revolution, Tamara and the Scene, Mazarati with Terry back on lead and Alexander Oneal and of course Morris Day and original Time members. Great line up, big money maker! Some promoter out there put it together.

Not many times a artist remakes the song and it comes out better than the original, but in case Jessie Johnson did. I wish he produced this jazz remake onto a CD. Still, I’m glad somebody recorded it for this my first time ever hearing it in a jazzy tune. It’s matured and soothing to the soul.

That drunk man saying the lyrics - 😂😂😂 - Jesse has always been in my Top 20. Saw him Chattanooga, TN in 1986 - he killed it! "Go Jesse, Go Jesse" shouted at the top of everyone's lungs, which was a feat because they barley clapped when he came on - they didn't know who he was. My Drawers is my favorite solo (though he was low in the mix) followed by Can You Help Me and of course Jungle Love!

Jesse is the greatest living guitarist and gets no credit for it. Prince said Jesse was better than him
@wisdomseeker33623 жыл бұрын
That statement is oh so very doubtful. I don't think Prince would ever call someone out as being _better_ than he was at playing the guitar. Prince' work/ practice ethic and hours exceeded 3 guitarists put together. Also, Prince prided himself in being the best at anything he did concerning music. I'm not saying he is better than any other guitarist in the world, but I am pretty sure he never said Jesse played better than him.
@Steve-mp7by3 жыл бұрын
@@wisdomseeker3362 Prince said it I didn't. Whether or not you choose to believe in reality is your problem
