Another trick is to point cut the length instead of blunt cut, meaning point the scissors towards your fingers and that way it gives a less shelf look once you cut the length off and makes for a more seamless blend ☺️ absolutely LOVE your videos im just getting into wigs myself since my hair is just too unruly and I’ve basically ruined it by allowing a hack hairstylist bleach my hair after telling me she could achieve the look I wanted… yea fun times lol anyway thank you for showing your process and teaching us tricks!

It is amazing how you look totally different just by changing up your wig with color , style and length . I have 2 expensive for me wigs that I would like to cut but when I look at the cut of the wig it is just beautiful so even though I am a hairdresser a synthetic wig cuts so much different than real hair so I have been afraid to ruin it . Thank you! I cut a curly wig of mine a while ago and I wish I had watched your video before I did it! I think it looks ok though and since it’s curly, you can’t really see if it’s too messed up, but I didn’t do the heat trick so it definitely started matting and tangling up. Is there a way to fix that? Btw, love the wig you’re wearing! I’d love it if you linked the individual wigs you wear in each video!

You can go back over it with some heat at the ends but it’s going to straighten the ends. Other option is to try a fabric softener soak or a fabric steamer.

Do you have to straighten the ends with heat every time you go to wear the wig? Because it's synthetic I'd imagine it will still stay in it's place because it's basically plastic your heating up so it will take it's position and stay put? Right?

I've been wondering if I could trim some of the sides off of my Auburn wig. It is way too bulky and falls right into my face. Watching this, I have a good idea that I need to just take out the excess hair on the sides and maybe some off the top. It is super heavy all the way around.

You can use a flat iron. However, there isn't as much space to let the heat escape. So, I would say start on the lowest setting and test it slowly. Adding heat as needed.

I wish there was a way to send a private message, because I don't want to insult or embarrass you. 😬 I am noticing a lump on your back. I think it's because your bra band is too thin and/or too tight. I'd like to suggest that you get a professional bra fitting (or look for a self-measuring guide online). Then try some styles with a wider band, to keep your back smooth and give you better support. Thank you for sharing your wig trimming skills. Your videos are really helpful and informative. 🤩👍
