I just lost my mom 2 days ago to anorexia and drinking since she was a kid. I’m not going lie Jessica needs some help and not just addiction help, but mental health advocates and help finding a way to have a healthy relationship with food again. My mom was 80 pounds when she passed and many times they will lie about their real conditions. Please stop harassing her because the more people told my mom to eat, the more they will starve themselves because it’s the only thing they have control over.

A lot of “ celebrities “ are taking ozempic and my husband took a off brand of it for his diabetes and it’s absolutely brutal. He was so sick and after almost 7 months of fighting with his doctor he finally got off of it . The food literally rots in your stomach causing sulfur belches and other horrible smells, the vomiting and nausea is horrible. I ended up taking my husband to the emergency room for dehydration because of this drug, people should never use this drug for weight loss, most diabetics can’t tolerate it and I can personally say from experience it’s horrible!

He took Trulicity and Jardiance and one more that I can not recall the name of before they finally took him off of those medications. These medications all have the same mechanisms of action. They also cause kidney damage, cancer and a host of all other horrible side effects. I used to weigh 355 pounds and I tried everything before I finally had weight loss surgery and I understand why people want to lose weight but giving people these drugs is horrible. Really read the side effects and talk to people who had good and bad experiences with it before you even decide to try it.

Good lord! I've been thru this even. After having my kid I was cubby for a bit, then lost a ton of weight due to breastfeeding/stress. My family was worried and started rumors about how thin I was. As someone who work in a pharmacy I can not believe what Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Wegovy are doing to these people! They are losing weight at such a rapid pace some of them literally look like they’re melting!! Not to mention we still do not know the long term effects of using these medications for cosmetic weight loss. I just want to hug some of these people that are paying thousands of dollars monthly for these prescriptions and tell them they are beautiful the way they are! I don't know if Jessica has been diagnosed with any chronic pain disorder/condition, but I have been and there are some days when my pain is so bad, I struggle to find words and I sound very much like she does in these interviews. I'm not intoxicated, I'm not on drugs, but to someone who doesn't know me, I can understand how I might give off that impression. You never know what someone is going through.

She did seem happier and much more energetic when she weighed more. 😢 she honestly reminds me of myself years ago when i started my weight loss journey. I was overexercising and undereating. I had low energy and developed an iron deficiency. Eventhough I was happy to be smaller I became depressed because I kept comparing myself to others and also deprived myself of sugar and carbs for a loooong time. I was bullied for being “too thin”! Physically and mentally! I was also accused of being bulimic! It all seriously depressed me for a big part of my life. So just be aware, that pointing out people’s weight can really hurt no matter whether someone’s big or small! I am concerned about her possibly going over board with surgery! same… I weigh normal for my height, 5’3, 119, I’m just small. Even my family calls me a toothpick and “bulimic”. They always ask me if I eat, I do, all the time. I’ve been called these names all my life but I’ve been perfectly healthy. They point out my thighs, my wrists, collarbones - It made me think that I was actually sick, but I love my body and at least some people mention how they want it. Then, in university, I was named "Latigo50,"... a famous pig feed formulation in the Philippines to make pigs fat. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Now that I have gained weight because that's what happens when you get old & your metabolism slows down, I still get crap from the same so-called "friends." To me as an RN, she looks like she's had recent lip injections and I've noticed actresses who've had that slur their words a little while afterwards. And she's reading word for word. If Jessica was on speed she'd be talking 90 to nothing not slow and slurring. I was put on a medication for severe migraines in the past which helped me lose excess weight. I actually returned to weight at marriage lol. I had also just had a baby but even women I worked with, was a loving team and family ( I thought) began started to say YOU GUESSED IT! They started saying I was on DRUGS!! I was targeted for drug screens that I passed, to the point of harassment!!! Jessica had a traumatic brain injury caused by a car accident as a child. It took her years to relearn to speak normally, & even then, it was slurred & slower than normal. Ironically, it was singing specifically that her speech therapist relied on in teaching Jessica to speak again. When she's not focusing on it now, her natural speaking is always a bit slurred. The natural southern drawl she possesses only accentuates the slur. Regarding substances, Jessica is absolutely honest about being a recovering alcoholic. However, comparing her speech pre-fame vs now makes the accusations/assumptions definitely unjust. Sadly, most of this is just uninformed targeting of an individual who has worked so hard to heal herself and her loved ones, too. My comment does come from irl connection & knowledge, though she's a pretty open book for those curious about her. The one thing she's never been is introverted or shy 😊. She puts herself out there, mostly in writing & journaling these days, but pretty much available for anyone interested in all she openly shares across different mediums and platforms.

Lets be real the weight issue is to deflect from her showing obvious signs of addiction. I have several addict relatives and had a friend who was an addict. They love to lie about being sober even when their speech and facial expressions tell a diff story.

I don't know of she's using Ozempic, but I'm getting upset that doctors are allowing the Ozempic epidemic occur. People aren't getting that drug on their own, it's doctors failing to be responsible medical providers and just handing it out. I don't think you should even be allowed to get a medicine like this for weight loss unless you are like 500 lbs and your life is in the line if you don't lose the weight (I'm honestly wondering if stimulants might even be a better option for those people). The area I grew up in had the #1 opioid epidemic in the country. It was caused by doctors handing out pills like candy instead of actually caring about what they are doing. We had many doctors arrested over it too, with a state wide public health record of controlled substances and who is prescribed to handle it. Sounds like we need some measures taken towards the doctors handing out Ozempic like it's nothing.

My husbands doctor prescribed him Ozempic. It’s been sitting in our fridge unused for a year. The possible side effects for that drug are scary.
