auralite moon it takes a lot of strength to go through pregnancy, childbirth and becoming a new parent without having your own mother to confide and talk to. Good luck on your journey, I’m sure you’re a wonderful mother and she’ll be looking down on you with pride. ❤️

I feel like it’s my Dad’s prayers that are bringing this sweet angel into my arms after so long, and I think your Mom will live though you and this gift of your incoming angel. Lots of well wishes for you and your baby and my condolences for your Mom

I LOVE that you say “that’s ok” for most things that moms usually stress about or get scared... it’s a whole new world for mom and baby, specially at the beginning when both are trying to figure out things, but it gets better and moms should know that it’s TOTALLY normal to mess up and to make mistakes and to cry when you feel overwhelmed... and also to hand the baby to someone else if you need to catch your breath. ❣️🙌🏻
@jess_hover5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much :) You're so right!
@Latinhoodie5 жыл бұрын
Yes! This is so accurate. I’m a first time mom, my baby is one month old and it was tough the first week home from the hospital...it will get better y’all...I’ve felt every emotion you can think of and the ultimate result is feeling more confident in what you’re doing and feeling more at ease. Always ask your pediatrician if you have ANY questions, that’s what they’re there for. Every friend or relative will give you their two cents so be ready for that...just take their advice and go on with your day, no need to debate or be rude with them and their opinions. Everything will feel overwhelming, but remember to breathe...walk away if you need to and if you have a support person either your significant other or a friend/relative have them take over for a while. It’ll help, trust!

One important thing to note is that if you're getting things like carseats, swings, cribs, etc. secondhand to see if it's been recalled or not. Especially since carseats actually have an expiration date. Cute baby, by the way 🙂
@RheeAndJoshii5 жыл бұрын
Really? Wasn't aware of this
@LadyRobinLockheart5 жыл бұрын
second hand car seats especially are considered a bad idea. please be careful
@ashleyramirez68865 жыл бұрын
Also if it’s been in any accident. At least when my sister in law got in a car accident her insurance had to reimburse them for a new car seat cause it’s considered “damaged”.
@julietemarthla16574 жыл бұрын
Wait really????
@cleansocks4 жыл бұрын
I was going to say the same thing. Used car seats are pretty strongly discouraged because A) unless it belonged to your best friend or sibling, you can't know if it was in any car accidents, and if it was, then it may have structural damage and is considered unsafe. B) SO MANY baby products get recalled, so it's important to double check on this, and C) Car seats DO expire--typically they're considered expired 5-6 years from the manufacturing date, because safety technology advances so quickly.

ramrodnj um....?! don’t tell people to “get off the pill”. it’s her choice, and it’s keeping her from getting pregnant. birth control pills are very safe. i mean sure, using the combination pill can slightly increase health problems but they are VERY rare. i’ve been on it for two years and all it has done has made my periods longer, but they were oddly short before. don’t go spreading this stuff

Pregnant with my second, and due in November. Even though this will be my second child, this is such a good reminder of what that newborn stage is really like and I will definitely come back to this closer to my due date for a refresher. Thanks Jess!

I've been watching your videos for several weeks leading up to the birth of my first baby. I'm so grateful for your real take on caring for baby, as most of the other content creators I've watched seem to fake a lot to make things look pretty.
