This is what i do when been ghosted: Never try to contact the ghoster again, delete her number and our convos. If in a future they try to contact again i do not answer, dont care about any excuses (been busy, a lot of work, didnt know what i wanted, etc...) Working pretty well so far. There is nothing more rude than talking to someone regulary and out of the blue that person dissapears. Respect yourself and move on.

Picking up where you last left off healthily happens after saying 'see you next time, take care'. Ending a conversation politely and adequately will always make you feel like you last talked to each other yesterday, doesn't matter how long last time has been - a week, six months, six years, a decade. Ghosting is never nice, shows a little indifference towards the relationship, some degree of immaturity, not to mention people might suspect you hold ASPD and/or NPD traits.

Last time I was ghosted by someone i knew 20 years ago. I felt hurt and didn't know why I was ghosted. I decided to respect her decision and I moved on. But suddenly she made an eye contact and gave me a smile seemed like she interested on me. But I just can't, I really can't. I don't know why but maybe the pain that I overcame when I was ghosted. It was hurt not to talk to her again even she showed interest. I just lost respect on her. I believe God has a plan for me.

I feel you. It happened also with me, last year when I tried to reach out to someone. I didn't send no sexual contents or wrote any harmful And I sended out a text message, while I introduced myself so politely. But it was a bit longer which was my fault. Then I got blocked by her, because she didn't knew me in the first place. I laughed first about it. But months were passed by and I was deeply heartbroken by her action. I had some breakdowns when I was alone and felt guilty of my longest text message. I've could done it better. But a great friend of mine showed her some pics and videos of mine. And she loved it. And all of a sudden she had unblocked me. But I didn't want to fall in her trap again, because I assume she try to test me if I would approach her again. So I became very bitter and blocked her, to let her feel the same way how I've felt last year with some grief. This will do the trick to give the ghosters some karma and they will be in a panic mode. And start looking for some contact with you.

4 months ago a friend (who is long disntace and known eachother 2 years) ghosted me after many attempts reaching out to her i left her alone, was getting me nowhere, looked dumb and felt dumb. Very interesting.. I have a girlfriend that does that everytime. And the reason is because she has another guy. Anytime the guy is not available, she comes back and when he is around, she disappears.. Whenever she goes back to her boyfriend, I use the SILENCE SYNDROME and this makes her feel bad and immediately wants to come back anytime he is not around.. But i keep wondering why she does this. This happened to me 6 times now. My ex keeps doing this to me. Its my fault of course. I reach out. The last time though she lead me on about us being together again. Wanted to be there for me because I'm sick with something serious. Then ghosted me right before i was to visit her. I ghosted someone once. I do feel bad about it Also been ghosted many times. People that ghost may have their reasons maybe due to poor communication abilities. I'll give my thought process. I knew someone for a few months over the mobile phone texting. However without knowing I realized I could be in something more than a friendship. For some reason giving the explanation of just wanting to be friends seem so overwhelming for me. The possibility they wanted something more I didn't know how to respond to it. Also the possibility if I liked them and found out I'm not attracted to them. How would I respond to that? Also the possibility if they like you but you want to remain friends should you stay friends? There are scenarios to be played out. Also this person never messaged me first so afterwards a short ghosting period a few times I did think about genuinely texting them again however I could never come up with a good idea about music to talk about. We shared interest in music. Maybe if she responded me to first at least once or sometimes it could of saved the friendship or whatever it was. Because when you haven't spoken to someone for awhile they ain't always on your mind. Sometimes you could be not even thinking about them not even once for a whole month or year. Sometimes you think about contacting them again but you are hesitant and have doubts and that thought only holds for a single moment then you go back to not remembering again. If they just initiated contact it could remind you of them. Also never talking about the awkward topic of where everything is going was another problem. I recommend to not fall into ghosting or getting ghosting. Both people should initiation the conversation to a degree. Also be upfront about the awkward topic early of were the whole experience is going. Maybe even be open about discussing about what you like and dislike about eachother. The thing is if you avoid talking about these awkward topics from the beginning it becomes a habit to avoid. It becomes more and more difficult to talk about it over time. I think that's why there is ghosting happening in some cases.

I'm in my late 30's. Not once has a girl who ghosted me ever come back. Not once. I love how she says that most people will experience ghosting in their lives like it's a rare occurrence, just something that might happen once or twice. Yeah, ghosting, disinterest and rejection is ALL some of us guys experience. I honestly can't remember the last time I was interested in a girl and she actually reciprocated interest. I'm in fantastic shape, have an attractive face, good jawline, full head of hair etc. I also have been interested in girls that most people would probably say are less attractive than me, but I liked their personalities and thought they were cute, so I went for it anyways. But in all instances, it never even gets to the "planning a date" stage. But if it did, as you said, you tell them when you're going out, you don't ask.

Rule number 1: If someone wants to contact you, they won't play games. Unless they had a car crash, broke their spine or are hospitalized, they'll get back to you as soon as they can, because they value you. Rule Number 2: If they do play games, or if it takes them a whole week to get back to you giving you hope but nothing ever happens, then maybe you're dealing with a manipulative narcissist or an uninterested match. Don't insist and move away. Rule Number 3: Nobody who cares about you will end up ghosting you. If you hold this person in high regards, maybe it's time to rethink your priorities.

It’s ironic how this video was recently made after what happened to me. To keep my story as short as possible, I had a girlfriend who loved me and I loved her, things didn’t go well (she became Christian) and we ended it months back. There obviously was lingering feelings still hanging however it was easier for her to get over me than for me to get over her (she has been through about 3 heartbreaks, this was my first one). Because it was difficult for me to get over her after a month of no contact, we tried to meet halfway as being just friends. I accepted because I still liked her and I was willing to suck it up and work through the feelings. We lasted as friends for about 2-3 months and as things got comfortable again, there was a lot of resentment arguments (mostly from my end) I guess because I was unconsciously talking to her like if she was still my girlfriend sometimes. After this past Christmas my guess is she got tired of it and ghosted me. I tried reaching out asking what’s wrong what did I do wrong and she kept ghosting, I would give a week break and then reach out again, still no answer. She was always the type to reach out to me no matter how ugly things got, so from this unusual ghosting behavior, I started getting anxious and overthinking (maybe she’s talking to someone and out of respect to him she just ghosted me etc.) and I wasn’t okay with it because I told her that if she were to meet someone new just tell me at least, I’m going to accept it and still be there for her as a friend. As time progressed I gave space once again (about 2-3 weeks) and then I reached one more time and still no answer. It lead me to go find her in person and try to see if she speaks to me that way, still no answer and walked past me. I was hurt by the fact that I had a good bond with this person and I don’t know what is going on that I’m just getting kicked out of her life all of a sudden, she was so disrespectful to me that I got threatened with a restraining order over nothing, just me trying to talk things out as her friend. I obviously got disgusted after that behavior she displayed of threat, after all the care, support, love and things I did for her to see her grow so I left her alone of course. A lot of people keep telling me that I did absolutely nothing wrong she’s just toxic and manipulative and mad that she didn’t get to control me the way she wanted to. A lot of people keep telling me that if he she keeps acting the way she is she’s going to regret losing me and possibly find me and come back. I don’t care if she does or doesn’t but if she does idk how to go about it.

I ghosted someone and we talked for like 4 to 6 months because they knew I liked them and decided to be my friend but I still caught feelings and they were in a relationship and a kid a whole family and I didn’t want to open up a can of worms or be string along I’m a full meal and a vacation not a 2for 3 at McDonald’s but now I have to see this person everyday I feel bad for ghosting but not for my decision at the time I was 18 and she was 28 now I’m 22 and she is 32 now the past is resurfacing and I was young at the time so I didn’t know any better and she was really up set she tried contacting me but I blew her off because I still didn’t know what to say I should of just said sorry now every time we walk past each other it’s nothing and she told some people she told me personal things and I ghosted that why she don’t mess with me but I really ghost her because she said something about a man and I just accepted reality and she still with him to this day I was right but it could of been something said before I left but that was the first person I went for so I felt a lil hurt and we never kissed or was sexual it was just straight vibes so to all the people that has been ghosted and feel some type of way I know you didn’t deserve it but some things is bigger than what it seems and apologize to all the people that has been ghosted and pray for you guys healing

So..i went out on a date with this lovely lady before the date was over she confirmed a 2nd date, i invited her out she said shes interested in going out to said place. This past week to encourage one of my friends who has trouble dealing with rejection, i posted on my IG the population of Women in the city we live in (charlotte) and how you gotta keep pushing dont take rejection personal. Since than she hasnt responed to my text for going on a full week and we were supposed to hang out this weekend. Yall think she was bothered by my post😂😂it didnt apply to her

I keep wondering if I should take them back. I just got ghosted about a week ago and find that I've quickly lost interest in them. We are still online friends and they sometimes ❤ my pics and posts but it's not really the same as it was and I find myself bored and interested in getting to know someone new. I'm not really upset or hurt by them, just simply bored
