Women’s logic is so convoluted and confusing. I understand and kind of agree with what Jessica is saying, but in the end, it usually feels like a tired and draining game to make women feel comfortable that further confuses us men. As an example, j get the “let some time pass before you reply to her text”, but if I’m sitting here and can carve out ten seconds of my day to reply, why wouldn’t I? To me, that shows being in control of your day and responding accordingly. The fact that it makes me come across as thirsty or too caring makes zero sense to me. I’m a good looking, confident man so my perspective is my own, but I’d much rather pursue semi reciprocity than playing like I’m busy when I can make time just to appease a woman. So nonsensical to me, but I get it - to a point, but I’d rather focus on those who can communicate their desires and needs somewhat clearly than anything else.

There is a lot of context I did not convey, but to summarise, I did not intentionally ignore or neglect my ex to have some sort of power dynamic or edge in the relationship. However, I was very independent, and my world did not revolve around her. I was comfortable not talking to her every day or not chasing after her-a perspective she could not appreciate. I’d give her my undivided attention when we were together, but I also needed space to recharge, as I’m an introvert. She felt I was not giving her enough attention, and she never allowed for the opportunity for us to compromise. That relationship was very complex; I don’t think I can capture all the nuances in this comment.

I’m in a situation like this now with a co-worker. I gave genuine distance a few times already doing my own thing and guess who starts sending me reels again on Instagram 🤣 She always keeps watch on my stories and replies to them or likes them. Not all of them… but a fair amount. She touches me at work puts her hands on my hips coming up from behind me… I assume these are good signs Jessica? She also said when we were out for a coffee one time that she would come with me to visit my grandmothers grave… pretty personal if you ask me.

Jessica talking about the old me, the ever-forgiving, always one call away, always begging, never walking away idiot! But I did walk away...and man that was the best decision of my life. Since then, I've been watching Jess and she has taught me so much!!... Now, I feel absolutely nothing about the girl and that even shocks me cos I thought that was impossible!
