www.jessicasmi... If you are tired of trying to keep up with complicated programs, hardcore extreme exercise and ripped and shredded 'beach body' ideals, then this is the place for you! We would love to have you join our incredible global community of women focused on (but not obsessed with) staying healthy, strong and fit. Come join our community and get monthly access to our over 2,400+ hours (and counting!) of workout programming and series designed to help you stay CONSISTENT with exercise during all seasons of life. Learn more + start your 7-day free trial at: www.jessicasmi...
Please join me for this quick, approx. one mile equivalent, at home walk you can do in a small space, and let's talk! We're often so focused on hitting all the right 'notes' with our healthy habits, that it can be easy to forget that the true 'music' is made in the space between.. Today we're talking all about that 'space between..' and what does that mean?
Well, it's been said that music is made with the space in between the notes, and the same can be said about our training, or really anything we do in life. While the right stimulus and action is necessary, it is what happens in between our workouts that improves our health. It's the sleep, nutrition, rest and recovery space in between our workouts that allows our body to gain strength, build bone, stamina, endurance, power and more.
If you are up for it, let's dive a little deeper into this topic while we walk and talk together! As with all of our 1-mile walk and talks, we get right into the tempo, so feel free to ease into it more gradually, add additional warm up or cool down time as needed. Make it work best for you!
Walk indoors anytime, rain or shine, with our entire 1-Mile series here: bit.ly/3Qg4H7A
Please be sure to listen to your body throughout the workout and make any additional modifications you may need as we go. Always make the moves work best for you!

Jessica, I want to sincerely thank you for continuously updating this series videos. I've been watching your videos for ten years now, but back then, I didn't understand how to enjoy exercise. After a decade, I finally realized that what my body needs is simple, low-intensity workouts, and this series happens to be my favorite. Over the past ten years, more people have started making videos, but after watching many, I still prefer your combination of appropriate rhythm and themes, which help keep both my body and mind in a healthy state. I'm very grateful to you, and I wish you all the best.

Thank you for another great walk and talk! I'm totally at the end of the day, just handed baby to husband for thirty minutes, and a walk and talk is all I have time to do. Perfect workout! Walk and talk idea: benefits of walking in nature. I was inspired by your nature background. It was great!

Thanks, Jessica. Your gentle encouragement is always uplifting. It's snowing and blowing and dark here this morning... 😂. So the green and sunshine behind you was a welcome sight as well!

Your 1 mile walk and talk series is my favorite part of your channel. Besides doing the walk, I also will take notes because the information is so valuable. These walk and talks are introspective, insightful, and motivating. Love that you are focusing on total wellness and discussing rest. Mariane Cresp here on KZbin has a video about a creating self-care/break list. The nature scenery was refreshing. Hope you do more walk and talk videos! Thank you!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for this video. It was exact what I needed. I’ve loved your online videos and DVDs for a while now but started struggling with mobility recently and didn’t think I would find something I could do. I could do this. And I enjoyed it too. Thank you!

I simply love doing your Walk n Talk in the mornings....it's like a "moving meditation" to wake up the body before I proceed to my workout. Thanks so much Jessica and your videos still reminds me of Peanut. ❤

These Walk and Talk videos are great! I've been out of commission for a while, have put on weight and have decreased stamina. I was procrastinating getting back in the saddle as, to be truthful, I didn't want to feel the disappointment in myself of not being able to do much. These are doable, motivating and fun. Great way to get moving again! Thank you so much!

Wow, gorgeous scenery! I love the philosophy you take with our workout program--we're focused, but not obsessed, and we do it for a variety of reasons. I thought it was harder to follow the longer quotes going up at the bottom in segments (vs. the old days when the whole thing was on the side of the screen). Always happy to work out with you! :)

I never see the number change on the scale no matter how hard I workout or what I change in my eating. I have a bad back and I am know somewhere that his makes me stronger and also is good for my brain and aging. That's why I keep doing these. I have been doing these walk and talks for quite a long time. Love them.

Oh Jessica, pretty please post some more videos. I was so ready to join and saw the membership had changed (no more year price -or the discount that comes with that). Hubby is letting me pick an affordable 1 year program to join (one time FC purchase instead of monthly). When I found there was no option for that, my heart broke. Not sure where to message. No-one responded on Instagram. I still love you always, and will continue to visit here and my DVDs. Glad I didn't get rid of them before going to streaming. Many blessings 🤗

Such a blessing to find this perfect stepping stone to improved health and stamina. I’m 73 and mostly do walking but realize I need much more than that! Did a great deal of aerobic exercise in years past but have given up most of that exertion in past years but still maintaining a walking routine. Walking is great but realize I need a little more than that to build my muscle tone back up. Enjoyed this video ‼️

Hi Jessica. I am so glad you do these walk and talk videos. Not only are they a great break in the day, but it is like I am getting a personal pep talk to encourage me on my fitness journey. Is it possible you do one that discusses workout modifications. Sometimes we get discouraged from trying a new workout because it looks too complicated or intense and we forget that we can modify it for our ability (age, experience, size etc.)

Hay Jessica I was exercising with you several years ago and I fell off working out with you because I had a big life change and I was going through some mental and emotional things happen in my life. Now I'm 41 and I'm healthy but I put back on all the weight I had taken off when I was working out with you, and now I'm back wanting to lose the weight and keep it off but I feel like I'm too old to exercise and I feel like I'm not getting enough sleep and I don't have the energy to exercise like I did before. I'm not sure where to start again and I'm not sure what I should do at this point? When I started exercising with you the first time I was doing it for something and now I'm not doing it for anything and I don't want to go back on another elimination diet. I'm leaving this comment in hopes you can help me, and maybe give me a starting point or some advice? Thank you you're long lost subscriber Ashley. 👍🏽🙂
