Thanks for this wonderful Walk + Talk today, Jessica! I really injured my back almost 3 weeks ago so badly that I could not even move. Today I am grateful for the fact that I can do your Walk + Talks and that I am able to get up and walk. I loved the quote, "Be Kind To Your Body - It's The Only Place You Have to Live"!

Thanks! I've been really down about my weight gain after having 3 children, all under six. You asked us to say one thing we're grateful for today about our bodies. I'm grateful that my body has been able to nurture, give birth, and nourish three babies despite my being an older mom (44 now). And that I'm still in good heart shape despite the 50 extra pounds.

One step at a time...anyone watching and reading this, you are ready to take steps to appreciate yourself as you are. You are so worth it. I love what Jessica said and I’d like to add that positive affirmations are a good place to start. Louise Hay has great ones about everything including our body image. Positive affirmations can help us learn healthy loving thoughts to replace the harmful things we have learned to think about ourselves. Meditation is also a powerful tool to help calm the mind and body. I use KZbin for both. Whoever is reading this I am sending you love and light and I hold a space of faith, knowing that you are on a path leading to beautiful things ❤️

I had an injurty two weeks ago. I was upset at first, that my body encountered this strange and painful situation that appeared totally random. I had to stop and let my body rest, I had to care for myself instead of constantly being on the go. And you know what? I'm better. Not all the way, but better. Here I am two weeks later easing back into workouts with this walk and talk about loving my body. I will get back to the tougher stuff, but right now, I'm grateful that it only took two weeks to mostly recover and get back into things. That's what I love about my body, and not be mad at it for taking me down for a couple of weeks. Thank you, Jessica~

Thank you, Jessica! I just found this walk and talk series yesterday. Such a great idea to just get up and move a little. I was thinking about the topic and realized, I'm 43, I don't think I have much to improve on! Little things, small goals, but mostly maintenance. We're not getting any younger! Just taking care of myself, eating healthy foods, trying new recipes, and keeping my body strong.

Hi Jessica! Hi Peanut! Long time since I checked in with you! I am grateful that my body has lasted me so long and still keeps going! I've been a Type 1 diabetic for almost 50 years. My diabetes has always been difficult to control. Doctors warned my parents I may not make it to age 20. I'll be 53 in June! Will have had diabetes for 49 years in May. And, I am still here!! Yes, I am blind, but I can walk, work out in many marvelous ways, make decisions and am stronger, thanks to well cued fitness videoes like yours, than I've ever been!! My legs are well defined. My rear end allows me good looking exits! My arms are not fluttering in the wind! I do a gratitude list every night. I am inspired now to add a gratitude for something my body does or is each day too! Thanks, Jessica! Always! Melissa & Sassy too!

Jessica! I loved this topic! You are always so inspiring and authentic! ! You asked us to comment on what we are grateful for each day; I would love to add a practice I teach my royal friends in the kingdom of Princess Diane von Brainisfried. I call it Jessica’s Gift after a philosophy classmate who passed of cystic fibrosis at 33. Every morning when I awake I take 3 deep breaths and really think mindfully of those breaths and I say “ thank you Jessica.” Let her be your angel too, to remind us of the wonderful gift of our lungs and how lucky we are that we can breathe! Jessica was waiting for a lung transplant that she was denied. When she thought she could get one, she spoke to a lung transplant recipient who told her that now she wakes up and can breathe. Jessica said she couldn’t imagine what that must be like! Sooo my friends and followers of the wonderful And inspiring Jessica Smith... know that everyday your miracle lungs are helping you be that wonderful you! Xoxo

This is such a super reminder of what is “important”. Count your blessings every day but make your blessings count really resonated with me this morning as this is Mile 5 on my 10k challenge. I did 4 miles on Saturday but it has been such a busy few days I am finishing my last few miles today. I am grateful for my energy and I am going to make that energy “count” by donating to The SPCA and Typhoon Mangkut relief in the Philippines once I have finished my 6.3 miles. 1.3 miles to go..... see you at another walk and talk😀

I really enjoy the Walk n Talk series! I have struggled with my eating habits for awhile. Realistically, I don't need to eat very much to feel full and I'm ok with that. The struggle is that I overeat and tend to eat when I'm not hungry. I grew up learning the importance of having a healthy relationship with food, but i feel like I have been spinning the tires in the mud. Could you do a Walk n Talk about managing such things and how to move forward?

I mean like a "I hate to exercise its so pointless, I will just deal with the bigger clothing size" beginner.
