“Aunt Hazel Cookies” sounds like a legit cookie name and I’m here for it

🧩I do love puzzles and my younger daughter likes doing them with me. We have a tradition of driving around on Christmas Eve and playing Christmas Light bingo. I make up sheets with decorations for them to find and always try to come up with some that will be hard to find.

Here in the UK we love a crunchy biscuit, it needs to snap! 🍪😂

I think ginger snaps are the only crunchy biscuit I like lol! 😂

I am with you on team chewy cookies! I normally drive around with my dogs and look at Christmas lights. Everything is so far away it would be hard to walk it 😂. I am finally catching up on the vlogs now that holiday madness is over.

Hope you're enjoying catching up on the vlogs! Thanks for watching! :)

We drive around and look at the lights, with a treat of hot chocolate. My boys get bored after a few minutes. I always put out Christmas puzzles to work on, but nobody works on them unless I get them at least 1/2 done first.

I love driving around looking at lights. It's one of my favorite things to do at Christmas time. :)

Oh team crunchy there is no other way🤗

Lol! I'll accept that with ginger snaps. But all others must be soft baked for me. :)

Team soft-and-chewy cookies all the way!

Only ginger snaps should snap lol. All other cookies must be soft baked. :)

Merry Christmas! I gave up on Vlogmas on like day 15 lol probably won't do it next year... I have a puzzle advent calendar that I'm finally getting the chance to put together today (Christmas Day).

Merry Christmas! Vlogmas is a massive challenge, it's not for everyone. A lot of the channels I watch gave up half way through or didn't do it at all. A puzzle advent calendar sounds like a lot of fun!

Next year I might spend Christmas in a hot country just to see what it's like because I have never spent Christmas anywhere other than England where it gets very cold

Christmas in a warm climate is definitely a different kind of Christmas. :)

💡When it comes to my cookie game, Team Chewy all the way :) No need to apologise, Andrea - I was concerned that your arm was acting up because you're carrying around a heavy vlogging camera - I'll watch a twenty minute vlog as much as an hour long one! Nice to see the Christmas puzzle tradition - I remember Moms talking about how tough the puzzle was last year :)

Team chewy for sure! And omg, next year I need to be better about doing shorter vlogs (like 30 minutes) throughout the whole month. That had been the intention for this year and then I gave up with all the fun stuff with Tamzin. But I totally felt burned out and vlogged-out by the last few days.

I do love soft cookies, but the harder cookies are really good with coffee. You dunk it in the coffee and it is just so good! It has snowed in Iceland in June, and yes, it is not fun! When we have a rainy, dreary summer, there is a national crisis. Everybody gets grumpy and those who can, buy tickets to Spain for a couple of weeks to get the sun. Unexpected, unwanted weather really reeks havoc on the mental health, for sure. So, I can completely understand your complaining about the weather 😜

Dunking cookies in coffee is an appropriate time for hard cookies, but I still prefer soft baked lol :) And I'm glad someone understands why I get so upset about warm weather in the winter. I can seriously feel my seasonal depression creep back up. Like, the weather is still nice and I don't have to turn my air conditioning on, so it's not that bad, but it's the anxiety of wondering what January and February are going to be like that is making my seasonal depression flare up. I really need to start earning enough money so that I can get out of AZ for a few weeks each summer.

How about spending Christmas in New York where it does get very cold and it snows

If I ever go to New York it will definitely be at Christmas time. :)
