The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost are GREAT to unwind with. God's Spirit is so refreshing, uplifting, filling. Why can't Bryant just go rollerskating, to the museum, have a picnic in a beautiful park, go for a drive to see the beautiful Earth God made?? He can do all of this in right standing with Lord and the community. Jesus was not "throwing down" at the wedding feast. Jesus at 12 said that "I must be about my Father's business." Jesus was very serious about His calling. Bryant seems to despise Jezus.

But going home, getting relaxed and cozy and reading scripture or watching shows like this IS unwinding for me. Why does “unwinding” have to be something sinful? Don’t be deceived. Partying is not gonna leave you rested and refreshed. It will leave you drowning in guilt and shame…IF you are a Christian and you’re attempting to live as the world lives. My takeaway from that passage: Jesus being there i can safely assume the right thing was being done, i.e not a gay wedding, not someone marrying a second or third wife, and as such even when the wine was in short supply he stepped in to help unlike when he went on holy rampage mode at the church when it was turned into a business center.

OK, Jesus is the "New Wine". You can't put new wine into an old bottle or it would burst. How dare the preacher say Jesus was partying. READ the scripture, his mother told him that they were out of wine. He didn't do it to please his mother or the guest.....Secondly, you have to understand the Jewish culture. This was not a one day event.. Several scriptures use weddings, brides, and husbands as it relates to the church.....having a glass of wine and being drunk are NOT the same thing. See 139 (hairesis). It’s a fair translation. Obviously words can have meanings according to their context.

Going against one is going against the other because they are one in agreement in all things (John 10:30). Repent, and God will forgive.
