Trevor's death hit me a lot harder than I ever would have thought it would. I watched a lot of his videos around 2007 to 2009 then completely forgot about him till the pandemic show started and I happened to see it online. Lately I've been just watching through everything he's done for the decade I forgot about him. I really wish I appreciated him more before finding out about his death. Looking back he really was one of the most creative comedy writers I've ever seen. Such a terrible loss.

Oof, that whole moonshine bit was painful. Trevor meant methanol, not ethanol, which is a relatively small mistake linguistically, but a huge one chemically. And then Johnny said "It's not alcohol; it's ethanol," when both ethanol and methanol are alcohols and ethanol is the only kind of alcohol we drink recreationally. Other than that, it's a good show. Missing Trevor is what brought me here, so this is my first episode, but I'm thinking I'll check out some more. Some parts of it were painful in context, but it was good to hear him talk about everything. Thanks for making this, Johnny. Keep it up.

Man, every time I hear him talking about making Moonshine those last few weeks, I just want to jump through the screen and be like, "No Trevor! Don't do it!" I know he didn't blew himself up or anything, but he was drinking moonshine that night and had he never got that kit, I doubt he falls.

Great interview, great conversation.. Trevor is always so effortlessly candid. I mean, On one hand, Trevor gives a 'whatever' vibe on the Twitch streams, On the other hand he keeps editing great videos to stream in his streams, honed OBS pretty fast, and brought amazing guests for some amazing conversations on his show Sometimes he comes off as a sociopath with really bad takes, other times he's surprisingly wholesome and vulnerable. I do miss him and Zach's back-and-forth, their deep boys segments were always fucking amazing. (Sam and Timmy always clash with him, and Darren seems to be happy just to be there)

@@fourscoreand9884 he told lots of stories where his disregard for someone's emotions in sake of a good joke was evident.. most of those stories were told on News Boys.. Also his dynamic with Timmy & Sam is bully-ish - lately they've been fighting back and it kinda comes off as "they can't take a joke" - but it's obvious it's something that's been brewing for a while. They lack self confidence, but I can understand why they had enough of being the butt of his jokes.. Dunno, he's got charisma for miles but sometimes he can be a real asshole. Love him & them all none the less. He's a genius, and they're all amazing. Watching their group dynamic this past year was a real treat 👍🏻

@@yairlife I have a lump, let me know if it is cancer (since you are able to diagnose medical conditions in KZbin comment sections). Imagine if you came back and said "yes, it is cancer". How unkind that would be, yet, you are effectively doing it for someone who has spent the last year writing and performing hundreds of hours of entertainment for you. What kind of a worthless coward, are you? You cannot even spell the name of the show you are citing. It is "Newsboyz".

LoL, you took "sometimes comes off as a sociopath" as a medical diagnosis, totally ignored everything else I said, and then latched on to the "S" instead of a "Z". Have a great rest of your life, dude. Hope you find whatever it is you're searching for.

Trevor probably didn't want us to cry, but it's ok to cry. It's ok to mourn. I'm sure some people, like me, don't really know anyone who is feeling this sad. Comment sections, reddit, discord.. feel free to express yourself. Trevor didn't know us personally but he was still our friend. He was very kind and funny Just don't feed the trolls.

But didnt cry. But this. I cant stop tearing up randomly and just being depressed. 2 weeks and no sign of it getting better. This fucking sucks. I never even met the dude. Their whole Twitch stream has provided so much WKUK history and crazy stories that someday I hope someone pours though the year and a half worth of VODs to edit together all the stories by or about Trevor. The WKUK Twitch was apparently Trevor's idea, and it was such a unique one. Fans essentially get to hang out with people they grew up watching over a decade ago, and the community they've created is unlike anything else out there. I truly hope someday they'll be able to regroup and keep the Twitch going, but obviously Trevor's death is going to weigh too heavy on everyone's minds.
