I think it might be both a physical reality, where Jesus comes down and does battle Satan, and a development of understanding within, in other words, a battle within- becoming perfect like our Father in Heaven is perfect.

Your first thought is incorrect. We do battle with Satan, figuratively speaking. The battle within our minds is correct. It is the war in Heaven. Enmity within the Mind occurs because of our dual nature of Good and Evil, or double-mindedness. A probate Mind is required for us to experience Heaven on planet Earth.

I think people get confused a lot on the kingdom of heaven inside them and all this we are all Gods thing. When its very simple yet over looked. First I want to say that God is originally translates from Gad, which is short for Gadre'el (satans true name) so before you continue throwing around the word God i would look into that for yourself. When scriptures say the kingdom of god is within us it is saying something not so complex. The kingdom of our father in heaven is perfect and righteous. To have his kingdom here on earth, within us it means to allow him to live in us and us in him. Follow the law, be righteous and as close to perfect as you can according to his word. Seek truth with an open heart but a cautious mind. We are not gods, there is only one, the alpha and omega. Stop reading into it so much and look at what all of the bible is trying to tell us as a whole

Maybe not... It was the time of Jesus' resurrection that Apostle Thomas was not with them. He was there in India, preaching the Gospel, over all the established religions in India. Maybe, he was doubtful about Jesus as the Risen Lord, and somehow influenced by the philosophy and Hinduism. But when he witnessed the Lord as the Risen Lord, he has changed into a radical Apostle of Christ, and has discarded his own doubt, which he believed at first. :-) But, I see it really true, and wasn't fake..

What Jesus told us, brings us closer to God. We don't to be inside four corners of wood, to be close to God. We can be outside, to pray, to read, understand, and be very close to God and Jesus. Amen brother! This is what I'm realizing that this is what life is really all about when it comes to God. Some would say though that this is false doctrine meant to lead astray those who belong to God. I believe this to be from God. Also, I have a question: What are your thoughts on The Lost Years and Teachings of Jesus? I'm reading a book called The Yoga of Jesus which I would highly recommend to you my friend. I'm just curious because it may seem that Jesus may have taught something else along with everything that his followers missed or twisted for self-righteous gain.

Awesome video, vry interesting. Here's a little summary I made, maybe it will help skim readers! The Gospel of Thomas comes from Gnostic gospels. In Egypt, Nag Hammadi library was discovered in 1940, full of ‘forgotten texts’. Early Christianity was diverging into various schools of thought, orthodox/catholic were just following instructions/stories/doctrines of the bishops, who were the disciples of the 12 apostles themselves. Gnostics however, thought salvation came through ‘secret knowledge’ or Gnosis. Gnostics texts contradict each other more than Bible but they’re an interesting perspective. Gospel of Thomas (GOT) is an exception. In Bible, Matthew, Mark and Luke all seem to be saying similar things, and are referred to as ‘synoptic’ gospels. GOT doesn’t mention anything historical, but rather contains many sayings and parables. GOT gives us very different teachings, compared to other gospels. It teaches that the ‘Kingdom’ is within YOU, and outside of you. GOT doesn’t show Jesus describing the Kingdom of God as a HISTORICAL event, but rather a PERSONAL, internal event or realisation. The concepts of the Messiah returning and banishing evil (described in the modern day version of the Christian Bible) largely come from Zoroastrian Mythology from ancient Persia. These Zoroastrian writings heavily influenced Daniel, who then wrote accordingly. Jesus’ sayings from GOT really describe finding salvation as INTERNAL and a ‘realisation’ rather than an external or historical event. This is more similar to Buddhism and Hinduism than anything else but has been left out/hidden from the Christian world at large by the establishment of the ‘main’ Christian Church.

All Orthotox christians know that the kingdom of Heaven is withourselfs. Unfortunately people do not pay attention to the important things because they are preocupied with other eartly things, but there is really a lot of depth in the Holy Fathers teachings. Read Saint Maximum the Confessor - Ambigua, Saint Gregory Palamas, Father Sophrony Sakharov, you will be amazed. Also, in Christianity holy people have been teached directly by the Holy Spirit, it all depends on our will to get deeper into the knowlege and to surender our will to God.

Christ often said in the new testament that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. Transcribing Thomas's words as bhuddist is ridiculous. On the other hand all the major religions of the world have the same basic tenants such as the kingdom of God is within you or do unto others as you want others to do unto you. The coming of Jesus at.the end of the world is not contrary to the belief that the Kingdom is within you. Jesus talked about the need to be transformed within to become love in order to be more and more like Him. All the work of love prepares us for the end wheather it is the second coming of Jesus or a smooth transition into Heaven.

How do you know it was nonsense? You dont KNOW, you think, you believe. The traditional Bible did not exist in the first centuries, yet we think that is much more pure. No song leaders or directors of music, no Bible, No real evidence women were second class from Christ. No protestants no catholics. Just a true knowledge that all people are equal in their less-than-ness than the creator. Of course we are all the Creator of All things children! The modern Bible even says Jesus came to divide, separate families and cause issues, but we don't talk about that. No 'isim' is free from division, and the argument seems to be the point. From Krishna to Christ we are to know who we are, argue, yet not murder each other over it. Perhaps if we decided to stop the arfuments, go about our business and LOVE each other we would be better off. Any sect, branch, non denomination that says they ONLY know the will of God and they are right, are not. All men are falliable. So if your religion says they are or and perfect and will beat you as a child over it to make you conform to their doctrine...run now, only the Creator of the Universe can be that, not any church in a small town who tolerates child abuse to ensure conformity, an entire are many such parents who do that from all walks.

There are some clear verses which seem to suggest that we are all 'sons/children of God's and that Christ is in all of us. Perhaps Christ indeed reached a realisation that we all can reach. That we are God ala Hinduism. I was surprised to see your ''rejection'' of Gnostic Christianity. It has appeared to me to be to orthodox Christianity as Sufism is to mainstream Islam. I.e. more like the experience of the prophet in question. Your thoughts?
