Im really excited about this pick, we haven't had a C that could set the tone and the whole line up for success since Mangold, Tipp might honestly be the last piece of the oline puzzle.

I think Tippmann's size causes him to struggle a little with his hands initially off the snap. He is a little unusual to be a center at the NFL level because he is 6'6" and over 310 lbs. Balance is key the first 1/2 second of each pass protection play coming up and out of the stance in response to his opponent's movements. Naturally we use our hands to help us maintain our balance at speed. However, his athletic abilities will help him adjust and thrive. Even more impressive from my perspective is his run blocking. My guess is that after 10 years in the league, he may very well become a Hall of Famer, but potential isn't a guarantee. Love this JD pick!

I think it’s far easier that trying to overcome footwork or athleticism issues. So I’m not super worried and if definitely doesn’t mean I’m down on him. Was my OC2 in the draft. Just wanted to be balanced and honest
