I say reject both candidates. As you point out, Rex was terrible at drafting and roster construction. Also, with his constant harping on Super Bowl aspirations, he put too much pressure on a team which was not talented enough to justify those aspirations. And, as for Ron Rivera, I can't add to what you said.

The scouts are paid to scout the gm sits and puts it together with the scouts. They will ask a coach ok we have these 5 guys we like at the 6th pick if they are available who do you,like ? But it’s still up to the gm. So to blame a coach for picks is fucking stupid.

I liked this because I love your show. But I think the roster construction and the lack of qb wasn't his fault he tried with Mark but Mark wasn't it. Geno was decent but to inconsistent and the owner didn't give it time to get rid of a terrible gm in idzick. MT shouldn't have been fired and Rex should've stayed coach. The dE/DT first round pick shit was ridiculous but it wasn't all Res. I like Rex clothes with this roster.

Idzik was the reason Rex failed. You could clearly see a different Rex once Idzik took over. I would love to see Rex back as long as he's the original Rex, and not the corporate Rex that Idzik turned him into. Bring back the Ground and Pound. It's working well for the Eagles with Barkley. I know it's not sexy but focus on building a premier OL. The OL can make a fair QB look very good. Mainly change the culture which Rex did from day 1.

You regurgitate everything that's being said on other channels. You like others forget to mention exactly what happened to the Jets at the end with Rex Ryan and what happened with the bills. for the Jets the GM completely failed to keep key players on the roster or they retired and the same thing happened with the bills. He inherited a horrible bills team. The Jets need a smart GM, a head coach who has playoff games under his belt and two coordinators who can create wins. Nobody with a high winning percentage or who has drafted more elite players than not is going to be available. The so called culture starts with the owner. He , she or them dictate how the ship is ran. The owner or owners right the checks so they in the end create the so called culture.
