A beautiful sand rail! Merlin will help you "Get Er Done"! When I raced Corvairs I could change an engine in an hour and 45 minutes. Now at 71 it'd be 2 days! LOL! Can't wait to hear her bark~! Nice job!

Corvair engines after 1965 came in 2 single carbs 110 hp, 4 single carbs 140 hp, and turbocharged 180 hp. This buggy will be a screamer!

Jimmy Add to the list a work bench for the Bench grinder and one of those strip outlet with a switch. Then you can leave the grinder plugged in and Quit pulling by the cord 😂😂

Yep whenever I’ll have to weld cast-iron. I got me an old oven. I bought the thrift store heat that puppy up to 400° take a torch preheat the metal weld it up and throw it in the oven, then turn the oven off. come back in half hour or so and you’re good to go.

My rotary 13b ate up vw transaxle type one always instantly bus trans would break on hard downshift or upshift.. a lot of centrifugal energy with rotors

It's weird that you seem out of your element with this sand rail, yet very much in it. This thing's going to run and a good time will be had, no doubt. We always ran VW because of ease of parts availability, service, and modding. Those Corvair guys had it going on though. Then there was all of the V guys.....
