Jimmy this was the third video i watched but in the second video I watched the one with Hunters 440 jetski I mentioned you being the reason we all watch because you are a loyal, dependable, faithful, selfless, and true friend and the kind of person we all want for a friend! And this drop everything to rescue Merlin and Desiree proves what I said to be true. Thats the same reason I watch Fab Rats because that is how Paul is and thats what I liked about Merlin. In a day in age where there is no loyalty or accountablity for actions in much of the population good people and friends are harder to find, There was a time when a mans word was his bond, yes meant yes and no meant no! God bless you and yours real good!

Hey Jim, new to your channel, I’m going to be going through my 89 and I want to re paint it as well. What paint did you use for this project? Looking great so far!!

How would you compare the performance of this method of running less water through the pipe, vs the "Dry Pipe Mod".
@jetskijim007 Жыл бұрын
Makes more top end (by a small margin) than the dry pipe mod. We are not done with this ski yet. Stay tuned, as we are going to take some pitch out of the impeller (it is currently too tall), and raise the rev limiter. I am hoping to get 42mph with the small carb and stock pipe. :-)
@willfeather6383 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jim, and you would say it makes about the same on the bottom? I have the dry pipe mod on one of my skis, but would save the work routing it this way on another I'm building

Hello Jimmy I like watching your videos , I have a 92 Kawasaki TS650 took the carburetor apart it’s CDK2 . My question is how many turn to set the High and Low on the carb.
@jetskijim007 Жыл бұрын
Thank you. :-) Usually it's 1.5 turns out on the bottom, and 1 turn on the top.

I just put straight bars on with a finger throttle. The cable seems to be too short to keep it from turning all the way but it also doesn’t even pull the lever all the way back. Any tips?
@jetskijim0073 ай бұрын
You have to unclip the throttle cable from the plate the steering bolts to. Then you can pull another inch of cable and hook it back. As for the throttle cable itself, you have to adjust it at the carb to take the slack out, and use a jam nut on the finger throttle end to space it out.
@journey_w_John3 ай бұрын
@@jetskijim007Thank you! I got it good now. The new bars and throttle will take some time to get used to but like it so far.
