if a rotor blade report is very likely that a leg can also be cut off and this probability is very high because the rotor blades are completely unprotected and are mounted very low, he would have to make an emergency landing in high undergrowth he puts himself in double danger, or the famous bird comes into a rotor blade and if a small piece breaks out of a rotor blade, an imbalance occurs which can lead to a rotor blade tearing off. Since the flying object is implemented ingeniously, but there is no security concept, very youthful!

It’s like the early days of aviation when everyone was having a go at building some crazy aircraft contraption. 👏👏

Multirotor aircraft have been in existence withought complex electronics for DECADES before spoiled consumers got the idea of "oh look, now all of a sudden im interesting in things that fly". Lol. Me personally, i built my first quadcopter out of 100% mechanical gyros back in 2002. Sure, it wasnt tiny, but it worked and could hoist over 200lbs easily and was very stable and agile. It also cost less than 2.5k at that time. Get rekt kiddz. Also i sucked in school big time. I fear what people will allow in the near future :(

In my opinion, a "flying car" doesn't have to go very high or run very fast. It doesn't have to behave like a plane. So, it will still be safe to ride. And yours is very close to that. And it's electric too. A very great achievement. Congratulations!!!
@EdwinWiles2 жыл бұрын
The only problem I have with it is the ridiculously short flight time. They need a better power supply that can keep you in the air for a minimum of an hour. Three hours would be better, at a ground speed of 70mph. That would make it ideal for my purposes.

@@Jetsonaero It sounds like you would rather make something work properly than to just put it out there half finished, that's great rather take more time to perfect it than simply just put it out there i agree, in turn we can expect something that wowed us just like your current machine. You clearly nailed the flight algorithm/handling with the current flyer. That might be a combination of flight controller tweaking/algorithm,frame dimensions and components use as well as an optimized cog, however only you seemed to have perfected it so far compared to all the others as it flies so wonderfully stable. Thanks for the update, will keep monitoring. The only other Multi that flies so stable is the heroflyer, but that is something rather different than a True manned multicopter. the kyxz, volo and ehang comes close but looking at your flights, i would have to say without seeing theirs flying more extensively, that yours even beats them according to what i see in your videos.

@@MrRoonkie thank you for the kind words! I did put a lot of time into testing, balancing and fine tuning indeed. I realize adding necessary safety features is a priority and can't be rushed. Imagine letting some of your family members to fly it, this helps to visualise importance of safety even more.
@MrElectricstorm6 жыл бұрын
I see a few safety concerns, but my Chief concern is not having a Safety Cage around the wooden propeller spinning at very high R.P.Ms, with a heavy load and fluctuating R.P.Ms, as well as your body being in the "line of fire". If you engineered and built that, then you're smart enough to know that if that Prop breaks, it'll have as much Velocity and Energy as a Modern Bullet. Basically, there's enough to take off a few digits, a toe or puncture a lung like a crossbow. I hope you install a Catch Cage you protect yourself and bystanders. Remember, almost all Safety Rules are written in blood. By that I mean, normally the rule exists because people either got seriously hurt or died.

He obviously wants to try to develop and market this, then get paid, so why would you expect he should give away his product specs on YT? Stupid request. (Let alone any legalities if you killed yourself or someone else acting on such information).

Besides my obvious safety concerned I absolutely love your project. I think it's bold, clever and maybe one of a kind right now. Would be great to show off at a local football game or local hobby clubs. BUT PLEASE invest in a safety catch cages. And don't forget, an once of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

PROPS (excuse the pun) to you my man for having the balls to build and fly that thing. It’s incredible to think how far this technology has come, from small hobby quads like the DJI Flame wheel 450 etc, to something that can lift a person using just 8 large motors, talk about DIY! It’s like the early days of aviation when everyone was having a go at building some crazy aircraft contraption.

Nice video. The design and engineering that went into your EVTOL is great. Countless hours of development and testing will pay off for this concept. Personally, I would enclose each of the propellers with a "vacuum tunnel" to create a high velocity vortex for increased lift. It would also possibly help quiet the motor sound. Good luck. Live your dreams. Be safe and good fortune, to you.

@johnrichardson80484 жыл бұрын
Awesome 👏🏻! I’ve noticed when people build these things they have a high centre of gravity. Would it not be more stable and more efficient to have the rotors higher and the load lower? I’m no aeronautical engineer and I’ve never attempted such an amazing feat so I’m not criticising, just asking
@singularitysquaredllc.8954 жыл бұрын
Yes it would be more stable and efficient, That was my main concern watching this, so yes, your intuition is correct, the center of gravity is too high.

Because one of them wasted the money one didn't it's simple batterys motors not that hard to do actually infact anyone can basically build anything with very little education the thing is if we all built our own cars planes and homes who would make all the money for the rich guys no one so they purposely make the education system terrible to keep us from advancing in education and technology
