Love the Jetstream 3 normally and I think this is such a good idea lol I don't know why this idea is not more common. I also love the Signo DX but I am worried because I heard Uni discontinued some of the stranger, other lines (like the pastel and needle tip) and now I'm worried they're gonna discontinue the Signo DX line in favor of the Uniball One 😓.

do you know what other pen refills are compatible or could be hacked to work with this pen? I want to be able to use other colors with this pen body besides black, red, and blue

Hi! You can use cut down Uni Style Fit refills if you want to try a colorful gel ink

if i replace my 0.5 pen with 0.38 refill, will I be able to notice a difference? because the tip size is smaller in diameter and it may not fit as snugly in the hole of the pen body where the tip of the refill is pushed out

The difference will be on the little ball end of the refill itself and you will only notice a difference in the way you write. The refill will still fit the pen perfectly.
