Of course they're edited. Would you watch every second of a 3:45 hr. flight, followed by another 2-3 hr. flight? This is the reality, however. Julia is portraying the job absolutely accurately. The very early mornings, the extremely long days, the fatigue...it's all true. Plus, no pay for delays, ground stops, etc. FAs are only paid once the aircraft is under its own power, so a 15 hr. day could result in 7 hrs. pay. That's the part people don't know. I worked as a FA for 43 years before my retirement in March. Julia is positive and upbeat and doesn't let the exhaustion show, like the consummate professional she is. That we all are!

while you were stuck in Orlando, I was stuck in Ithaca, NY for two and a half days! we couldn't get our aircraft in due to snow and low visibility up there, and I had to laugh through all of the delays that turned into cancellations because there's really nothing I could do about it. palm tree life! thank you for modelling a good positive attitude!

Tip- when making rice, couscous or similar grain that "sucks" up the liquid that it's cooked in- use broth/other flavorings as it will add flavor to what you're cooking.

Luna reminds me of our dog, Apollo. The difference being he gets up when I do to be let out to use the restroom and then when he comes back he immediately goes back into our bedroom to sleep with my wife. Oh well, at least I'm useful to him, lol!

Hi Julia! I'm surprised that you do not have fresh seedless green grapes in your bag, for snacking; they'll keep for up to 5 days. In addition, packaged white raisins are also a must carry; they come in small boxes. For an occasional allergic reaction...Benadryl is recommended, but just don't over use it because it will make you drowsy and will put you into "deep sleep". Tail winds!

Hi Julia!! I'm a high school student in Michigan, and I've really been wanting to become a flight attendant. I often find myself throughout the day thinking and dreaming about this occupation. Every time you upload, I always get super excited to see what a day is like for being a flight attendant:)!! I find the whole job so fascinating; I get extremely happy when I think about how my life is going to be when I become one. I just adore every single aspect about the job!! I do know there are quite a few downsides to everything, but I am 100% willing to do what it takes to get this job. I had a question in mind, I apologize for getting kind of off topic, I even had to delete a whole bunch of sentences because I was rambling about it all..oops.. Anyway! I was wondering if maybe you had any advice? Any advice at all helps! (even a very quick simple pros and cons list!)
