My grandfather was a gangster. He just passed recently. He had all sorts of money put away in different accounts. My mom was shocked at the amount of money he had when they read the will. He did serve time in prison in the 80’s and I think it was his wake up call to prepare for the future. He didn’t stop doing illegal shit lol. He just started saving a lot.

Another time the gardai sent an art dealer to verify paintings stolen by Martin cahil, Martin figured out the dealer was fake and started describing an area miles away from their location

Best story so far. Sitting in Frankfurt/Germany, Saturday night at 2 am, and can't stop watching. Bad flipside of the coin is, people're getting robbed every day without knowing, by legal gangsters. They name themselves bankers, politicians, attorneys, businessmen, and a lot more of other so called master. Thank you Mr. Lawton for telling your story. It really helps me to weigh up my thoughts and in a certain way it gives me more stability and self confidence to stay decent in life. Although I have a shitload of work and things to do, I want to keep on and get it done, even if they're just every time small steps. I have a question. The statue of limitation is basically you cant get arrested for a robbery over 5 years ago (i think). But what if you did the biggest robbery ever and didnt get caught for 5 Years, would they make an exception or just let you go?

The statue of limitations is the statue of limitations, pretty sure they cant make exceptions.

statutes of limitation have exceptions built in where a crime can still be considered 'active' even if the time has expired. They might also get you on related crimes (eg some sort of conspiracy) that have different statutes of limitation. It can vary by state and you need to ask a criminal lawyer familiar with a state's laws on this.

That would defenity result in a lawsuit, if you made an exception for a certain person to send them to prison the government would lose more money from the court case

There is a couple of cases where there would be exceptions for example look up the case of D.B. Cooper in order to make it so that the case wouldn't go cold the feds ended up bumping up the case to a federal crime the one of which they chose didn't have any limitations meaning that if he said he did it on his deathbed he would still be prosecuted many years after the fact

As another Floridian i love to hear these stories. Glad you didnt take Alligator Alley, because they have been known to shut that road down (because they could). Larry i used to be a bartender in south Florida, i was in my early 20's. I first saw your videos last week and i thought...i wonder if this is the same Larry who used to drive the Corvette...used to tip really well and was very loud, but a lot of fun. When you said you drove a Vette, a "convertible" makes me think that was you. I about fell out when you said you had a vette. Anyway, keep up the great videos. I knew a drug dealer who also spent money like crazy, he was buying us drinks, he spent a good 5-6k on drinks and reservations in one night for like just 5 of us, he didn't care, he was just like buying more like he had all the money in the world. I am no criminal but I had a friend who invited me along and vouched for me. It was a crazy night, we partied till about 6 am. I wanted to take pics but my friend told me he didn't like being filmed, recorded, or pictured so I respected that, even if he wasn't doing anything illegal at that time. When you said that gangsters don't save their money it just brought back that memory and it was a good one nonetheless.

Had a drug buddy came by my house after not seeing him for years picked me up and we stopped by his hotel. Had many suitcases full of weed and another filled with money..he trusted me completely so while he was in the bathroom I put as much money from that suitcase in my pants and waited for him to come back out IMEDIATELY he started laughing. LOVE the stories Larry, kinda newer to the channel I've been going back through and watching stuff. Absolutely know what you mean about speeding in the Vette; I had a 2011 Camaro up to 152 and the slightest jerk, bump, or turn would just be death. Got an even faster car after I sold that but I won't go that fast again either because there is as you said nothing you can do to prevent a crash if something out of your control happens.
