This man was really holy. He sacrificed his life to save his students, who he considered like his own children. He was truly an exceptional soul. May his Neshamah have an Aliyah.

He was killed in the line of duty. He saved all of his students. He went above and beyond the call of duty to save so many precious lives.

A great selfless loving professor determined to put his own life in danger to safe his students. Great respects to professor Dr. Lebrescu , we lost another great generation of WW II 8mo ago . DR. Lebrescu rest in peace .

I never heard about this. Seems he should get a medal by office of the President of the US today on Yom Hashoah. Survivors know what is important in life. May his memory be for a blessing. Say his name. Keep it alive.
