Jennifer, I'm increasingly seeing postings on Facebook - by English speakers (from the UK!) - who seem unable to differentiate between "they're" and "their", as in "you cannot go there, because their still closed". Maybe worth covering in a future video. Another one which is common here is "yous people", with "yous" referring to a group of people. Not good. :(

I am going shopping this afternoon. Here 'shopping' is a gerund or a participle. Go verb is an intrasitive verb. After intransitive verb +adjective/ adverb but Noun is not used. Go shopping and come dancing . Shopping and dancing are present participles.. Authentic grammarians describe this. But Oxford dictionary ( by As Horn by)said - to go shopping. ( as a phrasai verb, but no mention in a sentence) Please explain and please show an authentic grammar.
