this situation specifically rly sucks bc the first twitlonger of evidence only got released because the victim was concerned for dsmp's young fans. jikishi had been in a callout video before but the amt of views at the time on it was less than 300. so there really was no background for Dream to be able to check. it's really disappointing, but he probably won't add any more "random" fans to the smp anymore, only people who are known to be safe.

honestly it was a matter of time until someone on the dsmp was outed as a groomer. it restores a lot of my faith in this community to see how swift and strong the backlash was after the first victim came forward. i also hope this helps people have a more accurate picture of predators- not as faceless strangers but as, unfortunately, those we know or look up to.

It's important that this story be told but I feel like it's a bit of a misrepresentation that people are calling him someone *from* the DSMP when he was literally there for all of 3 days and none of the longtime members were close to or even knew him. The focus needs to be on what he did and that his victims finally got a voice, but it seems unfair that the DSMP is getting this undeserved negative association, especially when people are so eager to hate on them for just existing. (and before anyone comes for me, there are literally comments on this video saying that "it was only a matter of time before someone on the DSMP got exposed as a predator". that's sick)

He attempted to go too high too fast. He joined the biggest minecraft server (one which has a fandom that regularly digs up dirt about people), and immediately got called out. Apparently some of the victims had previously tried to tell their stories, but got harrased by his much smaller fandom at the time. But when you jump into a new scene with a fanbase that doesn't know you, they are hardly going to defend this or make claims that it is fake in the face of solid evidence. Thank god he has been exposed now and he cant easily target kids anymore
