Of all the videos I’ve seen on abs, no one has told it straight about moving your pelvis and shoulders. It’s so much easier to visualize and understand this way 🤯

Interesting point. I just did a workout by HASFIT on youtube. It was about strengthening lower back mostly but one exercise was focused on abs in a way that it was to strengthen pelvic floor. Very interesting.

@Susan Sealy nope, I am polish. you can see that she is trying her best to look good with what she had from beginning. she encouraged so many people to start their journey with fitness. at her age she is looking amazing. some people just won't be skinny, because of the way they are built, but I am far away from saying that she is flabby. have a nice day :)

@Susan Sealy I don't think it was sexist at all, it was just a compliment, it's good to say something nice even to strangers. I am not sure if you can tell, but I am woman too, besides, I don't think that jilian or someone from her team perceive this comment as something innapropriate, if it was the case, the comment would have been deleted by now. I wanted to show my admiration to jilian and appreciate her hard work, which paid off and we can see the results.

Jillian Michael's has always been my favorite fitness motivator . I purchased over the years every single one of her fitness DVD's and never get bored .You will always achieve amazing results following her fitness programs. Hi Jillian, I’m nearly one year post partum. Will you please consider a future video regarding diastasis recti and exercises to help strengthen the abs? I still have about a 1” separation despite being in a deficit and performing jump rope intervals for my cardio. I still look like I’m 4mos. pregnant. 😔 Thank you in advance.

1. Calorie deficit 2. Food quality no refined sugar or alcohol 3. Lots of water/ limit sodium 4. Hiit and strength training 5. Lift pelvis/ shoulders not just legs

there have been studies that suggest the maximum amount of fat that you can burn without sacrificing muscle is 31 calories per pound of body fat per day. So if you are carrying 60 pounds of body fat then you can run a deficit of 1800 calories per day. But if you have only 20 pound of fat the biggest deficit you can have is 600 calories.

Jillian, IMO you are perfection, I’m literally hanging onto your every word! From your body, hair, skin and the knowledge you have it’s more than evident you hold the key to a winning formula. I enjoy working out, I try to eat well but there’s definitely room for improvement, you are my inspiration 💆🏻‍♀️❤️

Thank you Jillian I have follow you for maybe 25 years since my kids were little and after putting them in bed I was doing the step workout aerobic. No just helped me with a severe back muscle problem I had fir years but also helped me to have a habit of wirking out. Recently in combination with gym routine I did the six pack workout maybe twice a week and I had amazing results looking great for my second wedding. Now I am 50 and after a 4 vertables injury your exercise videos have helped me to recover. You are my inspiration every day. Thank you again.

I love your jacket! I am 44yr, 23%body fat but my abs never changed even with doing a body building show. The dietian said it's extra skin that I have. I have done alot of abs but my stomach looks the same. I am on the APOE genetic diet plan where it's control by dietian and I have maintained my weight which is a blessing. My goal is to get close to 18% bodyfat but I know my abs never change as much. I do HIIT, cardio, and strength.

Jillian I have lost weight after my pregnancy and I reached 63kgs But now I have again gained all that I lost after stopping my workout and now I am 90kg please wish me all the best this 2021 I am going to start your 30 day shred program once again

Leg raises and crunches....I have never heard the movement explained like this. So simple and just compared them to how I’d usually do them and straight away felt it in all the right spots. I’m nowhere near a flat stomach yet but this will ensure I get the most out of the movements.

People can say what they want about Jillian but she knows her stuff and her workouts work , her 30 day shred workouts put me in the best shape of my life at 40. And bye incorporating her methods in your own workouts you get much better results than you get with most.

This helps out so much jillian. I've been doing your workouts since I could walk into a f.y.e and buy your workout dvds probably 10 years ago. I am now a mom of two and my body had changed drastically primarily my stomach (mommy pouch with the stretch marks) I know I have it in me to get fit again so im determined. I watched your videos and created a calorie defecit and I've been eating better and well let me tell you what you put in your body plus the work really counts. Ever since I've been eating REAL FOOD and doing my at home workouts I noticed the changes. I see definition in my stomach just have to continue to work hard for that six pack lol

Wow thanks. I used your DVD'S since 2016. Your a fitness ICON. My favorite of all time. I will always look at this youtube channel for your advise. As a male I always wore a waist trainer belt since 2009. But stopped in 2020 because on the directions it said COULD CAUSE REPRODUCTIVE PROBLEMS. So I stopped with the quickness....ouch

Jillian my fairy godmother. I started the lockdown in March a size 14(uk) and today I am a size 6(uk) so many people asking me how I did it. Its literally all jillian. I started 30 day shred and struggled like mad. Now I'm flying through the dvds and I'm so confident now it's unreal! I feel so much happier everyday. I actually look forward to getting my mat out every other day and going for it! Only problem now is the loose skin from babies and loosing weight! Any tips?? Thanks so much jillian. Really xx

I really enjoy all your workouts I have lost around 9 pounds doing your workouts with not a great meal plan and even not doing excersice everyday as I have ankel injury in the last two months. I won't be stopping ✌️✌️

I'm so glad your videos here are concise, short, to the point, and also unique/effective because you really dive in to the detail-level of the movements. Saying that I should be moving my shoulders, vs pelvis is a really useful tip moreso than people who just tell you to "do crunches" or even "don't do crunches"!

Jillian- I'm on my Peleton 4-5 times a week, I eat 70 percent healthy. I'm a homeschooling mom of two teens, and I feel very anxious and stressed these last two years. You talk about saying no to alcohol to loose the weight. I've got 15 lbs to loose. So about 3-4 months. After the weigh is gone, can I drink again? And how often? The glass of red wine helps with the stress I feel being around my teens all day. So to cut it out feels impossible right now. Can you please.make a video about when to bring back the wine and then how often if we want to keep weight off? BTW, thank you for you no nonsense videos. They make me feel like I can actually do this!

I’ve started taking probiotics daily and they have helped me a lot. I think some people are more prone to bloating, I have almost no bloating and feel so much better. Just and idea, your doctor could confirm if this is right for you.

Went vegan solved my belly fat issue in a couple of months. Didn't have to count calories, and I have maintained it for almost a full year. I didn't even have to do much core exercises it was amazing.

Can you please post a video about creating a caloric deficit and knowing how much your body naturally burns/ how much you’re burning during a workout and counting the calories you’re eating... that is the hardest thing.

I live by Jillian . I have the buns and thighs dvd and the 6 week abs dvd. I was 190-200 now I fluctuate from 145-150 depending on my calorie intake. I feel good and I’m COVID free. Thank God.😊🙏🏾

I’m 57 and after neglecting myself for awhile I’m ready to get serious. I want to lose 15 pounds and I’m dealing with major back pain. I’m looking to find an exercise that will help to eliminate my pain but I’m unable to do much because of my back pain (I know about a strong core, doing stretching, and walking for cardio). What would you recommend I start adding to my routine? Thanks!

Hello Jillian. I've been training using your workouts for like a year and I'm leaner and have muscles were I want them, and for that I'm grateful. What I really find challenging now is getting rid of my belly pouch. Yeah, I have an almost flat stomach and all but the belly pouch still stands out and I don't know what to do with it anymore. Can you make a video about that please?

Lol I clicked this video so fast. I’m on a weight loss journey and I’m like 40lbs down with like 60 to go. I swear I’m losing everything but stomach fat 😭. I’m just going to keep going
