Ugh… I stay in the house for that. Did not like it at all. We don’t get that cold too often but we did a couple times this winter. In January it went to -31 here for about 3 days. No thanks 😂🥶 I sure do enjoy watching you… and Vonnie also … God bless

I am finding myself getting a bit jealous of your outings. With a back issue affecting my mobility and the passing of my regular hunting and fishing buddy I haven't been out in the "woods" for a couple of years. I am fortunate to live on acreage in the mountains but it isn't the same. Thanks for sharing.

We were just wandering why you don’t use a splitting mall instead of an axe to split your wood? No criticism, just wandering?

I have three types to split with. The axe is lightest and works well on good wood. Hard to tell in the pictures but the red one is a cross between an axe and large splitting maul and I like it best and it saves my shoulders from all that slamming and jarring.
