"the people reading your story, you want to make sure they don't get any sleep that night..." Well good job Mr. Butcher. Everytime I get a new Dresden File's book my sleep schedule falls to pieces XD

ir0nsquire We could say the same thing about show host Robert, Big Dresden File's fan! We just missed out on an exclusive interview with Jim back in May for the release of the new book! Would have been awesome but last minute scheduling conflicts didn't go in our favor. But, the next time he's in Texas, they said we get a free shot.Thanks for watching and commenting. Only about 30 minutes in and this is already great! I could listen to Butcher talk about writing all day.

We're glad you enjoyed watching the video. I personally enjoyed filming the panels. I wish the we would have had a little better audio and lighting in the room, but we can't control everything. Well just have to figure something out for the next Space City Con in January 2014.

Kevin George Thanks for watching! We are trying to get a One-on-One Interview with Jim the next time he's in Texas. We were suppose to interview him at a book signing when the latest book can out but his time schedule just didn't leave enough room.Don't forget to subscribe if you have not done so already.

EXCELLENT CRAFT! I totally agree with the comment about running RPG's if you want to write. Thank you so much for posting this!

SO EXCITED. I found a bunch of things I fouled up in my own book. Which gives me a long to do list and that means I am back in the writer seat.

Corey, Thanks for watching. That's why we go to more than 50 Texas Fandom Conventions a year to film panels and conduct celebrity interviews because we know there is sooooo much to do while at Con, it's really hard to see everything you want in the limited amount of time you have. Don't forget to watch Jim Butcher Part2. If you have not yet SUBSCRIBED to our KZbin Channel or LIKE US on Facebook, please do so now. That way you be in the loop when new videos and other inportant stuff happens,

+AFK Show Austin i listen in the studio while I paint, illustrate, etc., and can't always have headphones on -as a result i have trouble hearing this super quiet (but otherwise great) post. just for info. thanks for the post.

Sorry about the audio. The setup they had wasn't very good and our mic was placed in front of the podium but we failed to turn up the volume during the editing of the video. We thought Jim was going to be at a Comic Con we are attending later this year, but we were just recently informed that he has cancelled his appearance. We so want to do an interview with him and I think the fans agree! Thanks again for watching and posting a comment, Please SUBSCRIBE if you haven't already!

Michael Fassbender as Harry Dresden? Fassbender is handsome, suave and very European. Wow. Maybe he could do it, but it would be odd. He is James Bond.

Unfortunately we may never see the end of the files, as his ex now owns half the rights to the proceeds... Hi Serack!?
@GypsieKitten7 жыл бұрын
do you simply stalk anything about jim butcher, just to say something about his ex "owning half of his stuff"? its pretty lame. and he seems to be coming out with books just fine.

While we wait for the next book, I invite fans to enjoy a completely free novel set in the Dresden verse. Just Google Warlock of Omaha.

damn, i love Butcher's writing, but he's a terrible public speaker. so many 'uh's' i can barely watch this!

MrSheaonemillion Listen to the other videos when he is answering questions about his world. No 'uh'. Hi publc speaking is fine. In this one he is thinking all the time about what to say. He is teaching something he knows but has not taught before. Harder.

MrSheaonemillion Oddly enough I like the Uhs. They fill in the gaps where there would be dead air and drag the session down. It helps keep me engaged.
