Jim is totally right about one thing: what happened in that house is completely UNPRECEDENTED. It's never happened before or since. Any idiot kidnapper would not write a 3 page note, threaten to kidnap, then NOT kidnap. They would want to take the child and get out of the house ASAP. As they say, there's something rotten in Denmark.

@night cat so why else would they have (most probably) written the "ransom note" on their own pad of paper using some of their common verbage - that includes info related to John's work bonus amount? Without any fingerprints - even though one of the Ramsey's had to pick it up off the first steps of the rear staircase? That is why I think they covered for Burke and staged the "scene" in the basement. And wrote that ransome note with gloves on. Otherwise I think one of them would have eventually folded if one of them did it. That leaves Burke - I personally believe they stayed strong for Burke.

He wants the crime to be solved....what other avenues does he have, other than to explore this one? He's not smiling like he's enjoying this (or smiling much at all), he seems like he's trying to remain positive and civil. Remember when Burke was smiling like an idiot during that Dr Phil interview, and every soccer mom with a People magazine subscription and terrible judgement chalked that behavior up to a clear consciousness of guilt? People often overestimate their abilities to read other peoples' behavior, as evidenced here.

In this clip he describes the intruder incident that happened down the street from him as, “thankfully they had the alarm set”, “they heard a noise”, “the dad went to check on the daughter”. In the new Netflix doc he says, “the mother was home alone”, “she heard a noise”, “the mother went to confront the intruder and chased him off”. @BethRyan: Boulder in 1996 was not some safe bastion with no crime. There might not have been a lot of murders but there was plenty of crime and break ins. I lived in Wheat Ridge CO at the time. Statistically way safer than Boulder and we had an alarm. We always armed it at night and always checked to make sure doors and windows were closed and locked at night and when we left the house. If a intruder did this the Ramsey's allowed it by being so lax in security. They were wealthy, living near a park where a lot of homeless people hung out. They weren't' t worried about burglars? They had a minor celebrity daughter who had performed at local shopping malls. It didn't dawn on them that she could be a target from that kind of exposure? And please don't use the excuse that this was the 90's and somehow crime was much lower then. It wasn't. This wasn't the 50's.

Has anyone here bothered to view the documentary which depicts the efforts to figure out what happened? Henry Lee was in this, as was Mr. Clemente and Laura Roberts; other investigators with expertise participated as well. They literally built a duplicate of the inside of the home inside a huge hangar in order to try to figure out IF an intruder was able to enter,, etc., so forth. Years after JonBenet was murdered, her brother was interviewed by psychologists -- his reactions to the pineapple issue was very interesting. That ransom note was absolutely not written by anyone else than Patsy Ramsey. Also, there was an enhancement done by an audio expert and when the tape of the 9/11 call was made, you can clearly hear Patsy's voice, John's voice AND Burke's voice on that tape. The 9/11 operator was NEVER asked about that call; in fact she was warned not to say one word about that call shortly after the investigation commenced by the grand jury. This was a staged event; no one else was in that home that night other than the Ramsey family.

The ransom note is a 🤡 note. There was no intruder. The majority of experts say there was recent and chronic sexual assault on autopsy. I don’t know who killed JBR , and it may have been an accident , but Patsy wrote the note, John probably diddled the kid, and one/two of the three clonked/ strangled JBR. It is tough asking tough questions to someone who at a minimum was involved in a coverup and 90% + molested the child , because most of us don’t want to be confrontational . I rather not ask the question than preface it with half truth that I was sorry for his loss. The full truth is that I am sorry JBR died, but I am 90+% sure there was a cover up. I don’t like the question as because if there was not a copycat crime , this does not prove there was not an intruder.

I’m still convinced the son did it. John likely argued with his wife to tell the police what happened, whereas the Mom begged him not to. Thereby putting all their fates in John’s hands, ending the note with an honest plea, “It’s up to you now John!” The son’s motive was jealousy. His sister got all the attention. He got none. He also likely touched her inappropriately. And this explains why they’d look up incest in the dictionary: To see if it would include a sibling. They were weighing how much trouble their son would be in. Murder is horrible, but what is the one crime that’s considered even worse than murder? So as he’s touching her, she tries to get away. He strikes her with an object at the back of her head. Then chokes her. It’s the only scenario that’s plausible to me. The son, suddenly enraged that his “sleeping” sister is now not only awake, she’s upset, screaming and trying to get away. The son reacts with panic and anger. He very much doesn’t want his parents to find out that he was touching her. So he chokes her to keep her quiet. And it started with resentment and jealousy. Hatred meets panic meets desperation meets murder.

Look up Linda Arndt, the cop first on the scene of the JonBenet Ramsey murder and she knew in the first 10 minutes that John was the murderer. She was very certain about that.

Linda Arndt is an incompetent detective who butchered the investigation the minute she stepped on the scene. She allowed the crime scene to be contaminated, and she is big part of why the case has yet to be solved. Linda and BPD allowed the family to become public enemy #1 because they couldn’t answer as to why the real killer can’t be found.
