My parents didn’t grow up in the south they were from the west, but Work took my father to the Carolinas and that’s where they started their family so me and my brother while we we didn’t have parents that grew up watching it. All of our friends watched it, and all of their parents watched it, and all of their grandparents watched Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling . My parents didn’t object to us being wrestling fans it’s just something they didn’t grow up watching. They would start watching a little with us though overtime in the 80s especially especially in the south in the Carolinas in Virginia. Yes we had ACC college sports but as far as pro sports, we didn’t have the Charlotte Hornets yet, there was no Carolina Panthers yet. NWA/WCW was the main sport. A lot of people watched back then. I didn’t start watching WWF until Ric Flair went to the WWF so throughout the 90s I watched both but definitely because of the region I grew up in WCW felt more like it was something that was ours.

I'm in the historical martial arts world. I practice weekly and compete regularly. Like any martial arts community we deal with injuries, but we also have lots of people competing into their 40s and 50s. With any high action activity you have to know the kinds of things that are going to lead to torn ligaments and other stress injuries, And concussions.And you have to avoid those kinds of actions and movements. It turns out there is a lot you can do with inside clearly defined sagety boundaries. Now, A huge factor is that amateur sports don't have money and careers on the line. so at any time we can know that we have an issue and decide to sit and rest.

i'm 44. i watched wrestling off and on on tv all my life. i discovered local indie wrestling when i was 37. like, good wrestling, not that deathmatch garbage. and i live in illinois, where there is lots of it! at this point, i work as ring and cleanup crew for several local promotions. a lot of people shit on the indies, but that's where you find the people who love wrestling the most!

I was a super fan of the WWF/E in the late 90's as a kid/teen. I left the product after the invasion angle and Stone Cold & The Rock left. I haven't been a regular viewer since. However, a few years ago I started watching my old favorite matches on KZbin and listening to pods about the history of the business. Now I'm in my 30's with an appreciation of the history, the storytelling, and the art of it all. I'm half way tempted to buy into the product to see the upcoming Roads v Reigns match with all the fun drama around it. My 5 year old nephew loves John Cena because of KZbin clips. As long as wrestling can make it's content available online, they have an opportunity to sell a current product and get people invested in the history of the thing. So I would say it should be easier to make super fans than ever before.

Watching this after seeing how the Rumble played out and the current Rock/Roman/Cody story is on going. If Seth can't make it to Mania then they could of moved the title around using the money in bank contract. Seth takes on a quick defense, Priest cash's in & in challenged by Drew at Mania. Cody / Rock/Roman plays how ever they are planning it & the other belt is shifted around allowing Seth to go health up. Drew holds the belt till a triple threat at Summerslam with the returning Punk & Seth. In between matches with Drew has Sami, Jay, Priest, Nakamura & Finn.

As much as people hate on WWE for the five minute matches, honestly, with all of the injuries, and their shitty formatting, they probably should just have short matches. Only showing two minutes of your match on television while having your guys wrestle for nine is just irresponsible! Almost as irresponsible as Vince McMahon spending twenty four million in hush money because he doesn't know how to treat women, as Tony Khan having a roster of 300 wrestlers while his company annually loses money. This is professional wrestling today, everybody!
