Well, sure. They might well have known about it before the fact but considering they specifically mention how she's been paid to keep quiet (particularly the exact amount paid) then unless they're not quite respectful and go through her bank account details then it doesn't take a giant leap to assume she had to have told them about it. Prior knowledge is one thing but very specific details about the NDA is a clear indication she obviously disclosed details about the terms of it to them.

@@alexs7670 Well, each NDA would be unique based on circumstances but I'd say it's pretty much a guarantee that disclosing the financial details of her particular NDA would *ABSOLUTELY* be something which would be in breach of it. Like the woman in question is "anonymous" but the friend leaking the information has certainly disclosed enough information (age, role, employment dates, etc) that it comes across like a "Stormy Daniels" thing where once it's public the NDA is "invalid." And if it gets to that stage it's guaranteed she'll be offered loads to give an exclusive interview.

i have a different interpretation of why Vince showed up on Raw. I think he did it because he saw the big rating increase on Smackdown. Then Raw also had an increase so he might continue to do this while they have this kind of momentum. It will show the shareholders especially the board of directors how critical he is just as a figure to the WWE. I mean at this point he really is the WWE. even if Stephanie took over after Vince inevitably passes one day, it still won't be the same. that said, it's basically a big shark tank over there right now and everyone seems to be coming out of the water while they seemingly are at their weakest. oddly, i think this is when Vince is at his strongest because he loves a challenge and more importantly a real fight that he can sink his teeth into. but again the question boils down to what other things will they discover possibly from other NDAs. I assume with the WWE under the microscope like this, they'll be forced to go through a pretty hefty audit. but i've said it before that the one that they'll need to go after (besides Laurenitis who looks to be the fall guy from this at this point) is McDevitt. And I really think it'll be nearly impossible to get him.

I'd have agreed with you if his appearance had been announced beforehand. However, as far as I know the Raw appearance was unannounced.

Excellent look at this situation. Vince was lauded when he went out live, essentially telling the advertisers, the talent and the WWE Board, “See? They love me!They don’t care!” There could be any number of NDAs; does it matter in the end?
