@@chuckles9767 who knows. Tony is very clearly using his family money to get close to the boys and gals in the back. He's too big of a fan and a mark to be fully in charge of a wrestling show with people's safety at stake. Collision has been so much better than anything they're done before, as a whole. Stuff like MJF/Punk shined despite AEW being AEW, not in lieu of. That whole program and Tranquillo Club documentary on KZbin gave me goosebumps, it's the best modern wrestling story, and it's still unfinished. Hopefully Collision continues on as almost a pseudo new promotion, and let's the worst parts of Dynamite stay on Wednesday. I'm happy that it exists and that people like it, but please just let me have my tiny little corner on Saturday or DVR, and let it remind me of wrestling at its peak. Just because kayfabe is dead and we know it's scripted doesn't mean we want reminders of that every minute. Let us lose ourselves in the show for a bit.

Sounds like CM Punk is moving closer to being an AEW booker, which makes sense. Father time catches up to all of us. Maybe Dustin Rhodes, Jeff Jarrett and Sting should be handling the day to day operations at AEW. They all have had 20+ years careers and all three have learned a LOT from the business rather they learned from the late Jerry Jarrett, the late Dusty Rhodes, Bill Watts, Jim Crocket, etc.

One of my favorite broken glass spots in pro wrestling was when Bobby Roode turned heel on James Storm and used his own beer bottle on him and won the world title and it started off a great heel run. Later on, James Storm returned the favor. That was memorable. Goofy Jungleboy using glass, unless he got seriously injured or seriously injured a talent, would be forgotten in a week

Yea the difference with that angle was both Bobby and James ran the angle by the booker and both were up for doing it in a main event,so who was taking the bottle and who was giving it and had Perry even asked the other wrestler who was meant to be in this angle as we only hear his name.

Damn, what a difference two weeks made.... And not for nothing, but they don't use sugar glass in most Hollywood productions anymore. I think Jim would like that Scott Prop and Roll KZbin channel. I think he's said that they use some epoxy or liquid plastic that they pour into molds, and breaks in a style not too dissimilar from real glass, but is much more brittle.
