The narrative was that punk was interfering with Perry but it was then as it is now clear that perry was interfering with collision and Punk

@@tornicadeat it was finally made clear by Punk that he had almost complete control of Collision and was some sort of EVP or “higher up”. I’ve wondered why Tony S was going to Punk with the problem when TS is a high ranking officer in the company and it was never publicly mentioned that Punk was anything more than “one of the boys”.

I just wanna say thank Jack Perry for everything. The ripple affect he caused for both companies has been history. 1. Punk and Joe kill it in his last AEW match. 2. He returns in Chicago on a WWE PPV. 3. Back in the WWE(where he belongs) full time, with endless feuds and matches we as fans can look forward too.

Exactly.😂 They started all this drama over Colt Cabana? Colt Cabana who hasn’t even been worth mentioning since 2005, if even then?? They pick the job guy to start a fight over against the biggest star that company has ever or will ever have?? Because they’re never getting a Rock or a John Cena or Roman or Becky or even a Seth or Drew McIntyre. That tells you everything you need to know about AEW. They aren’t a business. They’re a clubhouse where they compete over fake stars from a stuttering goof like Meltzer and they gossip to shmucks like Sean Ross Sapp instead of worry about growing the company into a legitimate contender to WWE. They have so much potential and they squander it over high school drama.

Punk is a indie dude but he was always more of an old school wrestling mind than an indie mark like Ambrose and Bryan. Getting an Uber outside of Heathrow is always a nightmare, it’s on the far edge of London, nowhere near anyplace else of note, and there’s thousands of people landing at the airport every hour. Most British people get public transport, prebook with a private mini cab firm or get a family member to pick them up for transport.

I always call him Dixie Russo. Incompetent as an owner and booker(but at least even russo was booking for WWE during the attitude era and some of TNA's better times( granted not him alone of course) Hell WCW 2000 with all its faults is more fun then watching the Bucks do their thing. I would take a hardcore match with Big vito and reno over a Bucks match, or Orange cassidy.

The only reason punk didn’t have a non compete clause is cause Tony didn’t think WWE would never have punk again. Kind of fucked himself there.
