I think it's fucking fantastic that Randy Orton is really good at wrestling and has made a lot of money from it without giving an inch to the "MUST LOVE THE BIZ" marks. (at first I said "like you" but I misread your comment 😬) Maybe he DOES love it and doesn't talk about it because he knows the business works better when guys aren't always talking about how much they love it.

Randy was the first of the big 5, (Cena,Batista,Brock,Shelton and Randy)to debut on WWE I believe. He actually debuted on WWF in 2002 the week before it changed to WWE I believe, that's how special and how long it was.

Now if only they pushed Shelton more. He did win the intercontinental title, tag titles and beat HHH on his first night on Raw. But they could’ve pushed him a little more and gave him one WWE title run. The funny thing is he’s still got it and 4 of them are still with the company lol.

ReeceRrrr Shelton didn’t have good promo skills. That’s one reason for why he didn’t hold it. At the end of the day it’s up to Vince and the higher ups who holds that belt. So not everyone will get the chance to hold it. Sometimes we see miracles like Bryan and Kofi holding it, and other times people who shouldn’t even be considered to hold it hold it.

Randy is a top guy with a guaranteed contract. Just like Lesnar, Randy isn't going to do 1% more than he absolutely has to because his spot is secure. Every once in a while he will put on an above par performance because it's a match he's interested in, just like Lesnar. It sucks for us when we're stuck watching a boring match, but can't blame them because I'm sure most of us would be the same way if we were in their shoes

Chris Jericho and Daniel Brian consider him to be one of the best, if not the best, most natural performers ever. I know you're taking desire to wrestle - to that point, when Orton is focused (like in his current angle with edge), he's truly great. Just check out his work since the Royal Rumble. That's not a guy going through the motions.
