After seeing New Jack try to possibly legitimately murder Vic Grimes in their scaffold match, I never want to see another one again. As legendary as the Midnight Express scaffold matches were, I can't say that any of them were "great" matches. I'd rather have seen the Midnight Express do any other kind of match. It's sad that the Midnight Express didn't get a good Starrcade match until '88 (although the Atlanta Street Fight for Starrcade '85 was very entertaining). But one question I'd love to know: I remember seeing scaffold set up for many of the Great American Bash arenas - even with the double ring setup for WarGames. Did the Midnight Express do scaffold matches during the '87 Bash Tour too? If not them, who?

I'm pretty sure new jack is kayfabing the vic grimes thing when he says he tried to kill him, etc. When you watch the clip you can see that grimes basically jumps off (which contradicts the taser part) and new jack just has his hands on grimes. There's an interview with grimes where he says something like "the match went as planned, I shouldn't say too much". All that makes me wonder if some of his other famous incidents are also worked.

Corny is right about one thing. Halloween III was the worst one in the series but then again it had nothing to do with Michael Myers. Lmao Love either before work or after work coming home and listen to Jim Cornette talk about the business even if its somebody I never heard of and or seen. It's just the way he tells the stories and the way he talks about how he loved the business that he was in. I also love when he rips and or buries someone badly while getting morbidly disturbing in the ways how he would like to see said person's meet their end lol. Jim Herd, Vince Russo and, Kevin Dunn to name a few lol. "Horrible crotch rot and organs turn into jelly from the inside out while ... family watches" I think that was to Jim Herd and I may have misquoted it but you get the idea haha.

@@davidstigberg8888 Different strokes for different folks, that's fair. But part of me wishes they ended Michael's story with either Halloween 1 or 2. Then went with the original idea of an anthology movie series where every one is different and it's own thing. Who knows? We might have gotten something absolutely great down the line with the idea. Considering after 3 all of the Myers movies after that have either been horrible or "meh".

The whole hook for the match was to see the heels thrown off the scaffold. Nobody wanted to see their heroes take the fall. And that's gonna keep us fans coming back? Not me it won't. I like the "mystery" of the NOT KNOWING aspect of a match because that'll be what will keep me coming back just to see what happens next & it'll also keep the storyline/angle going strong a while longer because as a fan ya just never know. A year later the comment is still here for the entire world to see. Man, that goddamn censorship! Quick, to the social media to announce how we are being silenced! Cancel culture, cancel culture, war on Christmas! Getting banned from somebody else's Twitter timeline violates our 1st Amendment rights somehow. It's our god-given right to take a dump in other people's living rooms!

This channel needs to SLOW DOWN the uploads. We don't need a separate video for every sentence Jim says

Just listen to the Experience and the Drive-Thru and ignore the rest. The snippets are from those shows and for those who don't want to listen to a full 2 hour podcast to hear a specific story. Also reading specific comments about specific stories tend to go better in these snippets vs the full show. And of course the obvious reason of earning revenue from additional views of said snippet videos.

Usually these stories are of great significance in wrestling history so it seems ok to cut them out of a 2-3 hour podcast for someone trying to search for specific information.
