@@user-gc1wj8tt2p It is a generational thing because nowadays people are not taught how to take any type of criticism if it comes across as a little harsh and sarcastic. I went to school with teachers that were in Viet Nam, nuns and angry art teachers who did not give two f#ck$ about your feelings. And when you got out into the working world you sometimes met people even worse than that, so knowing how to separate the BS from actual knowledge is necessary. Jim says a lot of correct things in a hostile way so it comes across as negative, but if he did not give a rat's ass he just wouldn't say anything.

@Aaron Ethan Seriously this sounds like gold! The Wrestling Gods needs to clear and let this happen 🙏🏾 Imagine the promos in the ring Jim shitting on their style of wrestling. The back and forth between Kenny and Corny, and Olivier actually doing the finger guns in front of corny 😭 But Jim would need 2-3 guys that he actually likes on the roster, that can emulate his realistic OG style. Then seeing the 2 styles come together for a match 🤯 Like can we have ring psychology and spots? Can they sell and still do asai moonsaults? I’m 27 so I grew up with both eras. I want both worlds to come together and co create a realistic looking and feeling product. Just have a balance and bring it together. AEW sold us on having a REALISTIC wrestling product. Jim is right, when they got TV and PPV time they ended up doing clown shit 🤦🏾‍♂️ The same clown shit that drove majority of wrestling fans away in the first place. The same clown shit that had grown men ashamed of saying they love/and or still watch pro wrestling if they didn’t fall out of love with it already because of the childish shit. Like that clown shit drove people away from wrestling for 15 years. Jim is right AEW has a “restart/second chance right now” AEW has the means to take over. There matches are better they actually wrestle unlike WWE and their restrictive bullshit 🥴 And it isn’t a 3 hour show thats all poorly written cringe promos with bad acting. Now with the new added star power AEW can be a dopeeee powerhouse if they take a more realistic wrestling approach and cut the corny, cringe, lame humor. AEW has serious talent. Guys like Dante Martin have a bright future if marketed right.

He then tried to deflect by talking about financial fair play while in the season the club spent a fortune on loan fees, and unlike when a player is signed, they don't become a club asset. Essentially he paid for the privilege of developing another clubs assets. Not sure Toney would have made a difference in Fulham Premier League season although he did set a record for scoring in the division below, and if he had been signed for £5m he likely could have been sold for £10-15m even if he had had a fairly mediocre season. Maybe also worth mentioning that the club is losing millions every year under the Khan's administration too...

Hes doing it to a big heel in lashley so there’s not a lot of sympathy If anything I thought lashley tweaking his leg at 46 years old was a nice touch in writing since he has that match with Goldberg at crown jewel where Goldberg is coming off the “injury” to lashley. I think that makes that match more interesting at least even though it wouldn’t of been my pick lol. Just saying I think the only thing to criticize hard is Bobby lashley getting back in the ring when he’s hurt he should of tried leaving through the crowd and then kofi and Xavier should have came out and dragged him back out and then have big E win and you have a tweener new day maybe. You can single out SMW as his major failure but which company didnt go to shit at the time anyways? What made the attitude era was not only crash tv BS by Russo. It was the talent on top but also the brilliant booking minds behind it. Ross and Cornette had been said to be major contributors in the booking comitee meetings. Lets be honest he kinda chilled a little bit after Bobby Eaton died. I'm an AEW fan, but like many I agree with more than a few of his critiques. The reality that he needs to come to is the Wrestling Buisness as he's known it to be is dead. The main reason its dead is because the world has changed that much. If the internet, social media and streaming outlets were around in the 80's the buisiness wouldn't have been able to operate as it did back then. Mainly because there would be more options to watch in general. Being a Wrestling fan is a niche thing in overall these days no matter what promotion one supports. However, I will say that Jim Cornette's opinion is necessary and appreciated by those who know and understand the true value of it.
