My theory on Shida winning the title: I personally think the plan was for Toni to drop the title back to Jamie Hayter at All In, Tony realized she wouldn't be back by then. So he pivoted to Shida, essentially throwing her a bone and throwing her a bone for the great work she did during the pandemic. She never got a truly proper run, and now was the best time to put the title back on her
