Reuniting Edge and Christian straight away is one of the dumbest booking decisions I can think of. Edge signed a multi year deal. Christian has been killing as a heel and it's clear that Him and Edge wanted this feud. Slowly building towards them reuniting will get a much bigger reaction and a match like Edge and Christian vs The Hardy's should be saved for one of AEW's biggest PPVs like Double or Nothing or All In

AEW is on its last legs, its viwership continues to lower. TK is now using overrun to pop views that is why their are so many, but sooner or later TBS well put and end to that. Just because americans typically don't interact with rd robin tournament formats, doesn't mean they can't or shouldn't. Furthermore, educating the audience to acclimate to something new is, by nature, not going to get over like crazy the 1st time. C ) Wrestlers wrestling on TV is, in fact the basis for TV wrestling programming. I am not sure why Cornette just shits on just the idea of ever having cold matches on tv. If this is supposedly a prrsentation of a competitive sport, why the hell WOULDN'T there be match ups that happen "for no reason" occasionally? I can’t say much about the product before Full Gear but the show has been noticeably better after it but I think it mostly has to do with my investment in the Continental Classic. It’s a little predictable on the booking end but it’s refreshing to see no bullshit interruptions, finishes or convoluted storylines. Just matches and short promos. The main event feud is fine but the story surrounding it is diluting the rivalry between MJF and Joe (not a fan of MJF being Joe’s prison bitch). The Edge and Christian feud pretty much shit the bed after tweener Adam had that segment with him smashing that kid’s head in with the steel chair. I pretty much skip everything else lol

Edge vs Christian would’ve been tons better if they had teamed up first. When was the last time we saw them together?! Never in AEW. Make them a team for a while, maybe even champs, then have Christian betray Edge.
