Miz is great. Ridiculously underrated, glad Corny been appreciating him recently
@a_ya555511 ай бұрын
The miz has hero star power if they let him untap it. He was possibly going to play Johnny cage in mortal combat 2 and he was doing martial arts classes in real life. Wwe should let him look a little more that part in the WWE, like a super hero type character where he wears that black outfit. Gunther was breaking him,down verbally 2 weeks ago and they should have played off of that and let Gunther almost injure him badly. Sort of like how Sting was broken down in wcw before he built back up. That's what wwe could still do with Mike/mizanin. It's obvious to see. Came from nothing and builds himself up his whole life to be someone.

My earliest memories of wrestling are like 1999 and my mom quit watching when WCW went out of business and i didn’t start watching on my own till like 03-04 when I was 10. So as a ruthless aggression kid who watched WWE and TNA I was used to the power bomb being a huge move, even a jobber hitting one was gonna get a near fall because it was a big move, and easily one of my favorites. So when I watched some ECW stuff on a dvd WWE put out and I see bam bam bigalow hit a powerbomb on Tazz so stiff it made the entire ring shake snd bigalow bounced a little and Tazz no sold it, got up immediately, flipped off bigalow, and then did an exploder suplex to bigalow who was twice Tazz size like it was nothing my jaw dropped. I’d never seen anything like that before and you could tell back when it happened the crowd hadn’t either. But now a days guys don’t have the presence or the mystique that Tazz and Bigalow had, they don’t make the entire crowd hang on the edge of their seat and think “man these guys are killing eachother” you see someone hit 3 Canadian destroyers in a row and get a 2 count *cough* orange Cassidy *cough* you don’t watch In amazement you roll your eyes and feel like they’re wasting your damn time.

I'm amazed WWE mentioned Chris Jericho by name, alluded that Miz would be tying his record, and had Gunther use the Liontamer to beat Miz. They now seriously don't take AEW as competition anymore at this point. Tony Khan is gone need another line to make through a hours worth of time atm.
@RAD1111able11 ай бұрын
Why? Jericho appeared on video to congratulate Cena on his 20th career anniversary. They are on good terms
@holdenhurdle883111 ай бұрын
yea that makes sense for the Cena situation,s but on live PPV WWE does not reference people not actively on their payroll roster. AJ Styles, Christian Cage, and Kurt Angle have never on air (with the exception of Kurt Angles joke to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.) mentioned their TNA days. They especially didn't do it with WCW in business other than the shoot Corny promos. It's like this is a victory lap around the competition at this point. @@RAD1111able

I never understood why Ziggler didn’t get used in a similar way to Miz the last few years. They were used in similar ways for their entire careers as mid-card guys you could bring up to the main event in a pinch or use in a big story, but after Dolph’s tag team with McIntyre and his IC title feud with Rollins, they stopped using him as much, but Miz got paired up with John Morrison again and got another WWE title run out of it. And Dolph got released. They’re pretty much the same guy in terms of utility on the card, but Ziggler was a better wrestler. And he had the crowd behind him way more than Miz ever did. Ziggler was way over when he had Money in the Bank and he was way over again in 2016 when he was feuding with the Authority. Maybe it was the reality show that kept Miz getting used more than Ziggler.
@anonymousbo031811 ай бұрын
Ziggler did win the tag championships a few times after that. He also won the NXT Championship and even beat Bron Breakker in NXTs equivalent to Wrestlemania in the Stand and Deliver main event. After that though, he didn't do much.
