I actually have a rather strange Teddy Hart story. A few months back, here in Tampa, some friends and I were partying in Ybor City when we decided to head back to Channelside (about a 5 minute drive south, but we were drunk and didn't want to walk). We're waiting for our Uber when a black truck (looked like a late model Dodge Ram or F-150) pulls up, and waves for us to hop in. I'm not particularly paying attention, but my friends start walking to the truck, so I follow, and we hop in. A short drive later, and we're at our destination when I realize that this wasn't the Uber; it was literally a guy who just, out of the kindness of his heart, offered 3 drunk strangers a ride. We say our goodbyes and give our thanks, and as I go to open the door (I'm sitting in the front passenger seat), the guy speaks up and says, "I'm Teddy Hart". Now my friends are confused, because they have no idea who this is, nor do they care (because they're drunk and we're going to an afterparty), but I'm slightly geeking at the sheer randomness and hilarity of the situation, because indeed, it was definitely Teddy Hart (he was focused on driving and I wasn't focusing on him in profile). My friends murmur about who this stranger is, and I quickly tell them that he's a wrestler and he's Bret and Owen Hart's nephew. One of my friends pipes up, "Oh, I know Bret Hart," which seemed to both annoy and please Teddy, so I shook his hand, nodded, and exited his truck. He waved goodbye, wished us well, and drove off. Now, some might say I'm making this up, but think about this: Who in the fuck else in the world would think that claiming to be Teddy Hart would mean something...aside from Teddy Hart?

@giovannifitzpatrick1987
@giovannifitzpatrick1987 Жыл бұрын
@@bobsucks9647 That's very true. And, honestly, the strangest thing about the situation was how normal it all was, considering it was Teddy Hart. It would've made more sense if he was off the rails (much pun intended), and drove us off into the wilderness on some dangerous fuckery. But no, aside from pointing out who he was, it would've been just another mundane 5 minute drive between parties in an absolute stranger's vehicle. It was made even stranger because it's not as though we were the only people in that area waiting/looking for their Uber/Lyft. On top of that, there were plenty of girls waiting as well, so why he'd decide to pick up 3 random dudes is anyones' guess. Nonetheless, we certainly appreciated the free ride, and I always enjoy having an interesting story to recount.

I attended the Team Vision Dojo briefly back in 2010. I went to a TNA show & spoke with Samoa Joe about training. When I said who I was training with, he pulled me from the room and told me not to go back. Two days later, Chasyn was arrested for sleeping with a 15 year old 🤦‍♂️ Can’t believe I just heard his name again all these years later

I lived in Florida and a few years ago I met Chasyn Rance at a local show. I do video and we connected and were going to do work together at his Team Vision Dojo/I Believe in Wrestling school, that is until I got home and did a quick Google search on him and saw his mug shot and the charges against him. I made sure to lose his number very quickly and stopped answering his text messages. One thing Jim doesn’t mention here is the Living Legend Larry Zbysko was living with Rance (or the other way around) and many other old wrestling personalities like Scott Hall had a working relationship with Rance and his school. Really disgusting guy, especially as I learned about his alleged involvement with Fiddler’s disappearance.

@@coreyhall1150 It might not have been a problem. It is a little odd, in pro wrestling, for the veteran to call a spot, the rookie to say "no", and there be no problem, but maybe there wasn't one regardless. All I heard of is that MJF didn't want to do some dangerous table spot Teddy Hart did. I never heard or read there was a problem, but if there was, or at least if there is a rumor, even a false rumor, that's all I have to go on.
