I’m so glad Tara spoke up about Veganism. It gets a bad wrap. I’ve been vegan since 2020, after watching “Earthlings” and talking to a co-worker who is also vegan. I did research for about 3 months. Once you free your mind of the idea that you have to eat meat for protein, or whatever, it feels good to eat plant based. Probably why she looks 35 instead of 51.

She is a nice voice actress but I don’t agree with her eating style. It’s ok to like meat and it’s ok to eat vegetables but we need a balance of both to keep the body healthy. Yes it sucks that animal abuse happens in factories, but that’s just life.

Sorry Tara i have kids on the spectrum and they have chickens and ride horses... farm kids. Being vegan is not a way to voice a voice for the voiceless. Support local farms and kids in all communities. Being vegan for commercial farm is one thing but vegan for all meat including 4H AG makes no sense. Thank you for all you've done for all of my childhood but if your going to support meat sales and production there are many kids who prosper from farm meat production.

I believe she was talking about commercial farming. Most vegans are. She even said it was the torture farms and ones affecting climate change. Also, she said her boyfriend and kids eat meat and she doesn’t judge them. She’s just expressing her personal beliefs. She’s kind hearted.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian. And I do know that we don't need as much meat as we eat as a whole here in the US. But we're omnivores. We need meat and plants to be healthy. But denying that climate change exists is sticking your head in the sand. I don't think that veganism will fix climate change, it might not even help. But It's happening. And unlike when they made regulations to ensure the ozone could fix itself and more or less heal, we're not doing anything for climate change and it will get worse. You can pretend all you want but your belief doesn't make reality.
