Wow..interesting..I didn't get to see some of these videos before. Jim Kelly is passionate when he talks about Bruce Lee. Anyone can see the things he says about Bruce Lee is factual. Jim was a true friend of Bruce and was a man of integrity. RIP, jim kelly.

That was great. You could get a sense of the hurt he felt at the end rekindling the thought that Bruce Lee was gone. Surprised me when Jim Kelly passed. Dude always looked like he was in the best of health!

That movie Kelly mentioned near the end of the video that Lee asked him to star in was likely Game Of Death. This is probably a snippet of what the completed film could have been. I think the same dude who was in Enter The Dragon bringing a similar vibe to Game Of Death would have been awesome.

Jim helped make Enter the dragon great. He was very good. Very respected.😊

The person that the studio wanted to play Williams. Was the late actor Rockne Tarkington. Who starred in the 1972 film Malinda. Which was Jim Kelly's film debut.

I've come across contradictory interpretations of Kelly's gradual drifting away from movies. One version is that he didn't want to do films anymore because they took too much time away from his training. Another perspective is that he never actually retired from movies, he simply was highly selective about what roles were worth his time and effort.

one thing for sure, before I even watch this. Bruce had a freat PR team, and was always around friends and people he trusted. also he didnt go for the glitter and gold but challenged the industry. and thats why his friends pretoected Bruce and his reputation from being damages by runors and narratives surrounding his ALLEGED death

Sadly you aren't getting the Point l used the example of the Triads in Battle... Because some made the Comment that Bruce Lee had real Fights with various Martial Artists. Listen, he faced many challenges until His Parents sent him back to the U.S.A. Bruce Lee also while in the USA... Took on a diverse schedule of Competitors. Give it some thought read it through again. This time from the Analytical side of Your Brain. It will sink in.

I gotta disagree with all these people that say "He was the greeaatest ever". They haven't really challenged martial artists in asian countries.

@@quentinj6357 Jim and other fans haven't really compared Bruce's skills to other Martial arts masters from across the world who haven't taken part in world championships or haven't when Jim took part in them, so he has no right to say "hE wAs the bESt in thE WorLd"

Nor can they compare themselves to martial artists that existed in the past. I grew up in a community where baseball is huge. I am old enough to know some of the old legends, who were simply on a different level. The players today cannot come close to them, and I know because my own career spanned both eras. I entered into the game as a prospect, developed into one of the best players in my prime, and played into my fifties. That gives me a unique perspective. These guys today, may think that the best players in this era, may be the best era, but they lack the perspective that I have, and I know it is not even close! In martial arts, we are talking centuries! There is no way that a hyperbolic statement such as the “greatest that ever lived”, can be taken seriously!

Listen, youngster who said; Bruce Lee wasn't the Greatest. He did Challenge people in Asian Countries. " That is How Bruce Lee ended up in America. And he wasn't fighting for Points. They were fights where one could die. Serious Full Contact. He was Fighting Triad ( Chinese Mafia). It wasn't your after school Fight. This fighting meant someone wasn't going home. Get It? Understand? Bruce Lee, defended himself against Killers. Mr. Jim Kelly, Sensei, or Master. Humble Man. Rest in Peace Brother. Thank you for the True accounts.
