Actually, Jim Stafford had his own T.V. show in 1976. This looks like it's from the Jim Stafford Show. (I used to watch it as a kid, it was a great variety show, kind of like The Sonny and Cher Show and The Flip Wilson Show.)

Australian AM Radio played " I Don't Like Spiders & Snakes " by Jim Stafford on high rotation in 1973. I was only 12 yrs old and just thought it was a great song, I liked the music and thought the lyrics were very funny. Until today, I didn't know that Jim was a comedian. I thought he was a Country music star. Oh man he is hilarious first and then a musician. I am now a big fan of his comedy. I've checked out his many other You Tubes and the man is brilliant.

@KarenPilarAraujo8 ай бұрын
She's adorable and they are having playful fun in this performance, yet the director made a mistake not having him costumed as a young boy to go along with her young girl character's attire. In the song Mary Lou and the singer are the same age, which is clear in the lyrics but not at all apparent visually in this. A silly skit. Dolly has always been so delightful and talented and Jim Stafford is a real cut up as a singer and comedian.
