One thing most people aren't aware of is that wolves are VERY unlikely to attack a human. In fact if you live somewhere where wolves live, you'll probably never even see them. In the past 18 years there have been 26 deaths worldwide from wolves, almost half (12) of those in Turkey. So I wouldn't be worried if you see one. You should count yourself lucky to have witnessed the closest relatives to Man's Best Friends.

@altitudeiseverything31633 жыл бұрын
I *love* both hiking and XC skiing, but thought this was hilarious! Even avid hikers can have that “OMG, now I have to walk all the way back” moment, when our joy and curiosity led us farther than we should have gone. And the XC skiing is a slog until you’ve learned proper technique, especially if you’re out of shape. Once mastered, it can feel like flying, particularly skate-skiing (on groomed trails, of course). Nordic skiing (AKA, cross-country) is commonly thought to be the most intense, physically-demanding, and efficient form of exercise; competitive runners and cyclists often use it for off-season training. Those of us who love it don’t really see the point of waiting in long lift lines, freezing, then just sliding down a mountain. *Real* skiers can ski, yes, even *glide*, uphill, LOL! ❤️
