Loving these Aurora reactions! (fun fact it might sound like a stage name, but that’s her actual name!) She’s so magical. and yes very intense... it’s funny. watching interviews & watching her perform is like... complete opposites (unless it’s an upbeat song, then she gets super into it and has fun) she’s such a wise, interesting, sweetheart but her lyrics are so powerful and haunting. you can see all the emotions in her eyes and movements. Soft Universe from this concert is otherworldly or All Is Soft Inside live @ KEXP for a more playful and energetic Aurora. you can never go wrong with anything live from her tbh. her vocals are always top tier.

To see another side of her in a playful mood with joyous dancing, check out one of the live clips of "Conqueror" (from Jimmy Fallon's show or from the Honda Stage) or "Daydreamer" then there are so many other entrancing performances. Be sure also to look at clips of her interviews, as she is intelligent, thoughtful, funny, quirky, charming, honest, playful and so wise for one so young (include one of the interviews done with her two older sisters Miranda and Viktoria who are her make up artist (she says she doesn't like people to touch her face, so she only allows Miranda to do so) and costume designer).

And when i do listen to her, all the emotions that i couldn't put into words are explained with great detail. I find that im able to understand different my emotions and certain concepts a lot more than i did. And the more i let her music in the more it moves me....physically and emotionally. It always puts a smile on my face, movement in my body and most times tears in my eyes. After getting to know AURORA and listening to her song "The River", i find that i longer get the feeling of a "lump in my throat" when im sad. Because i no longer see a reason to hold back tears. "Like a bird in the night your emotions deserve to be free."~ our Queen♡☆ She has a lot of songs with titles and ideas that perfectly tie into eachother. These include. QUEENDOM WARRIOR A DIFFERENT KIND OF HUMAN MOTHERSHIP DANCE ON THE MOON THE SEED etc. We'll be here for the ride🤗🤗💖

I'll add my 2 cents (and links below). First song I heard of hers was a cover she did of Massive Attack - Teardrop. The original is an absolute classic in the world of trip-hop, and her version blew me away. I think the next cover she did that I heard was of David Bowie - Life on Mars. IIRC she ends this same concert with that cover, although there's another version of it I've seen where it's just her and a piano. My favorite from her changes frequently, but at the moment it's probably either Awakening, In Bottles, or Churchyard. I'll also throw out her Mahogany Session version of Little Boy in the Grass. Here's everything mentioned: Teardrop cover -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYG3immilLWLa80 Life on Mars cover -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXuTamiJZbKgpKM (her + piano version); kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHmofXiolMZ0n9E (Nidarosdomen version) Awakening -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnPVg3eFqrODrM0 (live acoustic version) In Bottles -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/boaYiYahbdd7b68 (studio version) Churchyard -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWabmX6OnbZ_qqM (Live @ The Current); kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHuvpnpumJZkfc0 (Live @ KEXP) Little Boy in the Grass -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5zMh2pmabOXlas (Mahogany Session) Lots of different music styles represented in those songs, but you can't go wrong no matter what you choose from her discography. Thanks for another AURORA reaction!

To really understand aurora you have to look at her childhood, picture the lakes and forests of Norway as her playground and you can see how nature(Mother Earth) is so important to her and then add in the fact that as a child growing up her family never had a TV or radio, only an record player where she listened to Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohan both great wordsmiths in the art of music,it's then you can start to understand what makes this girl become the amazing artist she is today, and to think at the age of 6 she found an old Brocken piano and taught herself to play without being able to read music is astonishing,to then at the age of 9 write a song called Lucky which you must listen to its a masterpiece and by the age of 16 have enough songs for her first album.(all my demons greeting as a friend )WOW! She is so special, for me she is a GENIUS .As a lover of music all of my life, like most of you we all have at times enjoyed certain artists, the reasons for this can be many fold, but I can honestly say that at this moment in my journey no one has touched my emotions or moved me like this young artist from Norway and there is a reason for her to have a huge fan base all over the world. She is such a great songwriter, singer and performer - for me there is a unique quality to her voice and the way she expresses her feelings in every word she sings is a quality that not many singers have She is not mainstream as she has created her own genre, and therefore she is not topping any charts. But that is not what aurora is about she has never craved for that she is a child of the earth and so grounded in what she believes in .So for me a musical journey with Aurora is a journey with meaningful lyrics and comforting vocals that makes you ask yourself questions and think more deeply about the kind of world we want to live in,for someone so young to write and produce songs plus produce all her own videos is outstanding.yes Aurora is a Genius.

Welcome to the Queendom. You are definitely on the path to become a Warrior and Werdo. Lovely reaction you did here, both with this one and with “It happened quiet”. I have subscribed and ready to follow your journey into a land of emotional music. I suggest you check out some of her upbeat songs too, maybe “Churchyard” at KEXP Iceland, and especially “The Seed” at HAIK (Haik is the English word for hitchhiking, and this concert is held at the end of a day where Aurora have been driving around with a TV host all day and gotten nice surprises. Aurora didn’t know where she was to perform this concert) - I bet If you listened to the whole HAIK concert, you would beg for a chance to hear more from her. She really is an angel of some sort, when it comes to bring sadness, despair, wisdom and hope in every single song she performs. A true artist indeed... But to be honest, if you search Aurora on KZbin and picked a random song, you would love it. At least if the recording is well done. Aurora is a true master in her art. I have literally LIVED inside music my whole life (I’m 45 years old now, and thought that my days of being a FAN was over, especially to new artists...) and still her music have such strong emotional impact on me. Check out her cover of "Believer" from Imagine Dragons on P3 Christine live. It's just her singing and playing piano. Also, check out her tune Murder Song (5,4,3,2,1) at the above concert in this cathedral. Great reaction. I don’t know where Aurora is going in her music career. I only know I am following.

Personally I prefer her uptempo songs, and her most animated live performances. This means that I love the KEXP ( recorded 2018) concert, in its entirety. However " Churchyard," "Forgotten love" and "Queendom" sticks out. "Forgotten love" at the tv show "Lindmo" is also a treat with some choreographed dance moves from Aurora. The "Haik" forest concert is also something really special. and you can try "The seed" and "Infections of a different kind." Music videos that I would suggest are for: "The seed", "I went too far", " Running with the wolves", "Queendom", "Animal" and " Apple tree". I have to say that the "Apple tree" video weirded me out the first time I watched it. You just have to remember that Aurora uses a lot of symbolism both in her lyrics and in the visuals of her videos. An 11 minute long documentary I recommend to all Aurora fans is "Nothing is eternal." It gives a bit more insight into Auroras thought processes, her background, her family, and her music. Best of all is that its free and available right here on youtube.

This song hits me everytime I listen to it. I do covers for fun and this is the next one I am doing from her. I plan to dedicate this one to my bestfriend who has struggled with suicidal thoughts.

Since you mentioned ab NDE you should watch THE OA series. The protagonist there reminds me so much of AURORA 💖✨

If you listen to Aurora and you’re affected by her then you’re already a warrior and a weirdo. It’s not a club, it’s a way of life.

So, you're infected. No wonder, she gets into you. I'm a new sub, looking forward to your next one. I would suggest her performances at the Nobel Concert 2015 - 3 songs: Runaway, Half the World Away (cover) and Murder Song 54321. Epic, like the whole Nidarosdomen performance. Have a nice journey.

Really you should just watch this whole concert through. It’s a bit like what you just said - you didn’t want to interrupt the flow of the song, same with the concert . It’s just magical, maybe the best video concert that I have ever seen. However if you want to see what AURORA and her incredible band are like at a gig check out any of the Honda Stage videos (there’s 6 individual videos) - maybe start with ”I Want Too Far”. She talks a bit with this song and I love the stuff she says on stage. Hope you like it!

The most positive person I know goes into the darkest abyss to push others back up with her. For me an anti suicide song that is unparalleled. And that at the age of 9. To understand ... there are very long dark months in Norway and not much to do outside of work. Thoughts in circles, suicide rates rise due to depression.

Aurora says she's heavily influenced by traditional Norwegian folk music. I think that's why she loves using bass/baritone male choirs and the single top soprano for harmonies. I can imagine Norwegian Vikings of times past singing folk songs in those deep tones whilst rowing their longships.

Aurora is simply the Best of the best....the whole gig at Nidarosdomen 2017 is epic, but whatever you choose is a win win she's so freaking good....always a message delivered directly to your deepest core....asides from being beautiful and talented sweet Aurora is the the voice of our time.. and she is a very wise lovely lady........she puts you on a trip and if you close your eyes you are in her story.......mesmerizing, haunting......but this is not her only side.....take a look at this kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHiXnn6wfZhpabM, this is live in Czech Republic 2018, and she talks, so you have better idea of who she is, as a person, and how she works......and sings and dances her heart out. Tell you bro all you need to become a Warrior or a Weirdo is just being capable of loving.....big deal huh? Peace

Greetings from Norway, Aurora loves male choirs, she saw a gay male choir on a festival once and insisted they would sing with her on the festival so the festival crew had to put up like 30 more mics on stage =)
