I have been playing guitar for years and I can play this song very accurately, and let me tell you this is far from that. He's just playing a very vague roughness of what Jimi plays, except without any accuracy or feeling, in other words he's completely botched the fuck out of it.

+The Beach Villain I first learned this note for note 25 years ago and can also play it very accurately. I think most people that have often heard the original can tell that this is far from the same. Jack is just putting his own take on it and everyone knows it. It's not a shit cover just because he did it his own way and didn't play it the same as Jimi's studio recording. Good guitar players are able to play covers their own way, he didn't botch this song at all.
