I have never come across a recording of' 'Over the Rainbow' by Jimi, although I believe that he did occasionally cover it in his stage shows. The big giveaway is that the drum-sound seems too 'crisp' and clean for it to be Jimi and the Experience. Saying that, whoever the 'mysterious, guitarist is, he's pretty damn good - he's just NOT Jimi!

Note he cannot find any video footage of H playing this music, because there is none. You are incredibly naive to think cos someone says something at the top of an upload it must so. Why, because like me, they have heard, and may well have Jimi's recording of this song It us incredibly naeve to take uploads on youtube to be what they say they are. The only thing Jimi about this upload is the thumbnail of his album cover. Also, it appears your reading skills are as slapdash as your assessment of youtube uploads. They are clearly not up to the standard you claim them to be. I never said who's recording this is. I stated IMHO the best cover of the song was by Lam Morrson and gave links to two of his interpretations of it. Most people with two connected brain cells would know that indicated I knew this upload was not Lam Morrison. If you knew anything of depth about this genre of music you would recognize Lam's name straight away, not reinterpret it to something not even close to what I wrote. If you took the trouble to be accurate in your reading, you would have read the many well articulated posts in the thread explaining clearly and succinctly why this is not Jimi.
