Yes BUT why? Why is beauty a selection criteria? There's probably multiple threads that lead to it, it could have something to do with physical health, an animal that's not symmetrical might have a genetic deformity for example, so a beautiful animal is less likely to carry those genes. There's a lot of possibilities tbh.

We just found a little hummingbird upside down on the ground who couldn't turn over and then couldn't fly away. We put him in a little box, fed him some sugar, and he flew away shortly after. We named him Dave Grohl. Thanks for helping us save little Dave Grohl!

Yes. Firefighters are required to be certified emergency medical technicians on top of their fire fighting training. We do have ambulances with paramedics as well.

It is a good idea to have as many trained medical personnel as possible. There's multiple reasons we do it here in the states. We have so many obesity related diseases, a mostly sedentary population, large senior population, no healthcare insurance to diagnose problems before they require hospitalization, or to cover medications for manageable diseases, plentiful drug overdoses and the dangerous groups up the chain that supply the product and don't mind killing to stay in business., drunk driving is a slap on the wrist until your third offense, a young population that eats tide pods as a challenge or any stunt to get famous on the 'gram, hugely populated states with too many self absorbed ppl on their phones drinking their latte's driving like nobody else on the roads matter, no motorcycle helmet laws, and of course 40% of the worlds guns for 4% of the world's population. 🔫🍺📺💰💉💊🚬🇺🇸 God bless America!... It's also good to be cross trained for our rural areas where you might not have as many medical personnel available to respond. Or our overcrowded inner cities that have more trauma and require more emergency personele trained in more fields.

In germany some of the ambulances are grouped with fire department as well. In usa more though. Here red cross and maltesa also supply ambulances and crew and are stationed in hospital. And mountain rescue has ambulance style off road benzes
