I thought i was gonna miss the silly, star-wars-tinged banter… and i was right. I love how much thinking Nic does before he says something funny, how just outright Jimmi is and how just hilarious Francis is without trying. Having said that, i do love watching nic work with the subtle music behind him. As i’m sure the comment section is rife with “no mask while cutting a carbon tube?!” and “bar tape/brakes should be this way or that” i wanted to make sure i got in another i still love your work be it Atticus, when you show up in Francis’ vids (it honestly seems like a Marvel-level crossover when my fave cycling subs meet up!) or your other endeavors (more music?). Keep it up! I love how these drop on Fridays as it’s the end of my weekend and it’s a great cap - esp these build vids.

@rd9467 ай бұрын
@@ickebins6948Precise cut, less waste, less effort, no need for a "collar" to achieve a straight cut, thinner blade, less tearing of the material, is that enough?
@ickebins69487 ай бұрын
@@rd946 Less waste? You buy a freaking bandsaw for 1-2 cuts a day... Thinner blades? And how is that relevant? You cut the tube, the rest goes in the bin... Precise cut? You mark the spot and cut it... If you miss the spot it's not exact, no matter how you cut it... Pretty "pro" reasons to throw money out of the window for no practical gains! It's like buying a whole JCB digger to put some soil into a flowerpot.
@rd9467 ай бұрын
@@ickebins6948 Mine cost $149, if that's going to cause financial strain on a bike shop, they don't need to be in business. I'd venture to guess any moderately busy bike shop spends that much on hacksaw blades and labor cost in the time it takes to use said hacksaw for each cut in a year. But again, I realize this isn't about a bandsaw being better, it's about you having the last word and being a bada$$ on KZbin. 😂
@ickebins69487 ай бұрын
@@rd946 Oh the hacksaw needs blades? Well I'm glad the bandsaw does not... As stated by yourself: "it's about you having the last word and being a bada$$ on KZbin" It was a genuine question, because I did not see the point in a bandsaw... and guess what, you did not provide any useful points. Just more cost, it needs a space in the workshop and no time saved in the process. Maybe the "pro" mechanics are not ready for your level of "expertise"!
