From there, the four-time NBA All-Star has been seen chumming it up with his fellow NBA-ers at Paris Fashion Week, and getting featured in heritage publications like Vogue and GQ.

Part of his success was that he was forced to deal with reality when he was kicked out of his parents house at 13 years old. Although it may seem cruel what his parents did, it's much better to deal with survival at a young age than being pampered throughout your life.
