Seems like yesterday I saw one of their first live shows in an attic in the mid 90s. They've come a long way, but I had no idea they still be killing it decades later. Well done boys. You've made Arizona so proud.

You look at the comments and someone’s talking about how great the bass is or the guitars, the solos, the lead singers performance, the drummer, the super tight interlude and you gotta remember this is what a fantastic band looks like . Rock and roll

Absolutely! And I really wish the Alternative rock radio format would get back to this, rather than the electronic pop sound the format has gravitated toward in the last few years. Hopefully we’re due for a pendulum swing fairly soon. 🤞

In 2014, they marked the 10th anniversary of Futures by playing the entire album live, followed by a second set of other songs (shameless plug -- I have a video from that show on my channel). Great live band!

One of my favorite bands ever who have never released a bad album. So good live, too. One thing about Letterman that I always liked was that he had good music on his show and you could tell he really, really enjoyed some of the acts (search for "Manchester Orchestra Letterman" and you can tell he loves the band).

No droo83, you are wrong too actually. The song was named "Salt, Sweat, Sugar" when it was released in the UK (obviously because "Bleed American" wouldn't be as appealing). The album title was renamed from Bleed American to simply Jimmy Eat World after the 9/11 attack.

Well I wouldn't say it was renamed, they just dropped the "Bleed American" suffix so people wouldn't think they were anti American A holes. But they re-released Bleed American in 2008 with the original album name. In the UK it was released with a different album name, but that was the choice of the record label.

I love Jimmy eat World and Thursday at the same time too!!! people listen to whatever they like, big deal! If they can appreciate a whole spectrum of music, all the better, no genre of music is better than the other. Everyone's taste varies so stop all this hating nonsense.

@aridz13 you see, although i see your point of view, i must interject. this is only my personal opinion, but T.I, t-pain, and the game use auto tune to make their voices higher or lower or electronic in general. but Jimmy Eat World's singers can do that without auto tune, and play the guitar while doing it. think about which has more talent and better sound for just a moment.
