Bill Kennedy actually Dollys voice is nowhere near as strong as Miley’s , and Miley’s technical training as a vocalist is way Superior any true singer or person who has studied music And I am a singer and studied music in college so I have done both would agree. Not to take away from Dolly’s charms though Dollys has a very beautiful and unique sound but technically and power wise Miley sings circles around Dolly and that’s just reality. Kenny Rogers has way better technique than Jimmy but in the original performance was lazy about extending his notes which is very descriptive of his love singing he cheats a lot bit has an amazing voice . Lastly Dolly and Kenny were lovers so maybe what you notice in the original performance is that chemistry but don’t confuse chemistry for better singing because mailer is a way better vocalist . 💪🏻🙏🏻
